Welcome to another BBHQ selfie selection. 

If mew were here on Wednesday and saw The Midweek News, mew would have seen Smooch in this same pot, fast asleep, like a supurr snoozy furry heathen. 

This photo was PRE-the P.A. getting the shears on the plants to tidy them up for spring.

Smooch's Supurr Snoozy Selfie 


Smooch, our adorable tripawed snoozer, is pictured curled up inside a round metal tub overflowing with soft, grass‑like plants. His eyes are barely open as he wakes from a glorious sun‑soaked nap, wearing his tiny red collar with a bell. There are two of these tin tubs with grass in them, and Smooch likes to alternate between them, especially when the sun is out. It's his 'go to' spot for ultimate relaxation and epic 'in nature' naps.

But just look at his supurr Smoochy face, he'd just woken up and could barely open his eyes! MOL

The BBHQ Midweek News Round-Up **BLOOMING EPIC!!!** ~ Parsley's In The Spidery Basket, Pandora's On The Deck, and Smooch is Snoozing in The Grass ~ **PLUS** Melvyn's Modelling

 Epic Greetings Furiends

Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!

Happy Wednesday, gorgeous furiends, and thanks so much for stopping by.

What a week, it vanished in the blink of an eye. Where is the time going right now? Is it speeding up? Or is time different at BBHQ? Probably, but that aside, we ran out of it again, we managed to reply to our blog comments, got the code pasted for the Sunday Selfies, and then boom, and it was Tuesday!

Hopefully, some hops will still be open, so that's our next port of call after finishing this.

So let's start with the weather report: it's been mostly dry, with cool wind, though biting at times, and the most offensive fur-ruffling abilities. We do not recommend spending time outside in that. We have had some nice but brief sunny spells, with Sunday being the nicest day of the week so far. 

But as this week progresses, it could, according to our weather app, reach a heady 19 degrees Celsius on Friday. Now that's something to look forward to! MOL

What is the weather like where mew are this week? 

Oh, and here's this week's flower offering.

 The Red Tulips Are Blooming Epic

A cluster of vibrant red tulips, some streaked with orange and white, blooms brightly in a garden bed. The reds are so vibrant, and the ones on the right look like they have been painted, honestly, nature is amazing.

We are waiting for some black frilled tulips to appear; they are only just getting going, but if the weather is warmer, we may get blooms sooner. Here's hoping!

Parsley's In The Spidery Basket


A black cat relaxes inside a wicker basket lined with cream fabric and filled with red blankets and a red heart‑shaped cushion. Pandora's On The Deck


Pandora was enjoying a dappled spot on the deck

She's loving it there at the moment, but I suspect that this repeated display is a subtle signal that garden furniture, preferably supurr comfy with plush throws, is needed in this space, very soon!

Smooch is Snoozing in The Grass

Smooch was catnapping in one of his favourite spring spots.

Every year, he relishes his time napping in the pots with the ornamental grass, though he was a little hissed off, as the P.A. had just cut this one back, so it wasn't as springy as normal.

And finally, this week

Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick

It was a tie between #3 and #5, so Melvyn made the executive decision and picked #3!

Melvyn, a mostly white tabby cat with dark markings lounges on a carpeted floor, wearing a bright floral bandana decorated with pink and teal flowers. Also, he's requested that the P.A. make some new bandanas soon, so keep your eyes open for brand-new collections in the coming months.

 As spring is now officially here, we chose some more colourful and bright bandanas for this month.

Today, Ginger Floof Fudge is sharing an intimate moment with the catmint!!! MOL

He's now adopted a new approach to catmint and catnip cultivation, which involves talking to the plants, as Vera, the bunker A.I., told him that playing music and speaking to the plants really helps with growth.

Fudge has also asked Humphrey to create a sound system that can be placed around the garden so the plants, flowers, and trees can experience ambient music, encouraging a harmonious environment for maximum output...

Amber is calling him, The Catnip and Catmint Whisperer!
