Epic Sunday greetings, furiends

AS IT'S ST PATRICK'S DAY THIS WEEK, WE'RE GETTING INTO THE SPIRIT OF THINGS EARLY!

Welcome to another BBHQ selfie selection. This week, we decided to bip back to the wilds of County Kerry, Ireland, in the Time Travelling Telephone Box and visit the epic Uragh Stone Circle.

The B Team's Uragh Stone Circle Selfie

A whimsical scene of the B Team cats gathered around a stone circle in a lush green landscape. One cat sits proudly atop the tallest stone decorated with shamrocks, while others perch or pose on the surrounding stones. A tabby cat in the foreground wears a green leprechaun hat and bow tie. A bright rainbow arcs across the sky, and a red British telephone box stands to the side, adding to the playful, fantastical atmosphere.

As mew can see, there was a little magic at play with the rainbow!

Mew know how much we love ancient standing stones and stone circles, see our previous trips to:

Greetings to all the history aficionados and travel enthusiasts out there!

This week we just had to visit the magical Uragh Stone Circle in County Kerry, Ireland, and it was an experience that left us paw-struck, not just about the ancient history and magnificent craftsmanship of the people who built it, but the magical energy which just purrmeated the area, it literally thrummed through our paws. Located in a remote part of the countryside, the circle is surrounded by verdant hills and lush greenery, making for a breathtaking view. The circle is much smaller than previous ones we've visited, and has a diameter of approximately 2.4 meters (8 feet) and consists of five standing stones that are arranged in a perfect circle. There's one enormous monolith, the one Fudge is purrched upon at the north-east /south-west axis. Each of the stones is of varying height and is local sandstone, which is known for its unique shape and colour. The Uragh Stone Circle was constructed between 3300 to 900 BCE, during the Bronze Age, and its purpose remains shrouded in mystery. Experts believe that it may have had religious or ceremonial significance for the people who built it. Some theories suggest it was used for astronomical observations, as the circle aligns with the winter solstice sunrise, while others believe it was a place of worship or a burial site. Walking around the circle, we immersed ourselves in the primal power of the ancestors who placed them here so long ago, using only simple tools and the ingenuity of the people who built them. Our visit to the Uragh Stone Circle was an unforgettable experience that transported us back in time to the ancient world of Ireland's magical past. It's a must-visit site for anypawdy interested in history, archaeology, or just seeking a serene and beautiful spot to reflect and appreciate the wonders of the world.

The BBHQ Midweek News Round-Up **Spring Flowers** ~ Parsley's Sunspot, Pandora Posing on The Millwheel, and Fudge Enjoying A Spot of Heat Therapy ~ **PLUS** Melvyn's Modelling

**Alt Text:** A colourful collage shows ten cats lined up in a row, each with different fur patterns and expressions. Behind them is a decorative backdrop of pink cherry blossoms, pastel bunting, and newspaper‑style graphics. Bold text in the centre reads “Midweek News Round Up with The B Team @BionicBasil.” In the top right, a cat with its mouth open appears to shout, with a speech bubble saying “EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT!” The bottom edge is framed with pink and white flowers.

 Epic Greetings Furiends

Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!

Happy Wednesday!

Let's do the weather report ... we've had some sunny spells, but sadly, this time of year, those soon gave way to overcast greyness. Though the rain has stayed away, we've only had a tiny bit of drizzle instead of a full-on monsoon.

This has been most beneficial, as the P.A. can now see the craters in the local roads; they're not covered in water anymore! MOL

Yes, we have a monstrous pothole problem in the area right now, so much so that the P.A. actually asked if she could use the tank on rubber tracks that's in the bunker.

I had to respectfully decline, as she doesn't hold the appropriate license. Sadly, I can't repeat her response to that! MOL

Moving on, here are some really pretty flowers!

A vibrant cluster of spring primroses in shades of white, pink, bright pink, and purple blooms among lush green leaves in the garden at BBHQ. The flowers sit against a natural backdrop of soil and fallen leaves, creating a cheerful burst of early‑spring colour.

On the Sunday Selfies post, remember the catnip plant by the back door?

So, before we dive into this week's news, we just have to answer this query from Meezer's Mews & Terrieristical Woofs, because it was a very valid and well-pointed out.

That was mean of the PA to not hand over the trimmed catnip so you could have at least indulged in it

It was heinously mean in the context of the post, but let me explain ... it was a tiny plant about sixteen inches in height, on about three straggly stems, which had miraculously survived the winter. After Parsley discovered it, there was very little left; yes, he massacred it, shredded with his pantherene claws.

So the P.A. cut it back before it was literally ripped out of the pot, and then there'd be none for this summer.

It was a small sacrifice for the greater good! MOL

Very well pointed out, and thank mew Meezer's, we love it that mew have our six on the catnip front, totally top paw!!!! 🐾🐾

First up in the news this week...

Parsley's Sunspot

Parsley, a sleek black cat, is stretched out on a light cushioned seat, fast asleep in a warm sunspot. His crescent‑moon collar charm rests against his fur as the sunlight highlights his glossy coat. The scene feels peaceful and content, capturing Parsley enjoying a perfect moment of sunshine.

Parsley took full advantage of an early morning sunspot. He loved it!

Next up in the news...

Pandora Posing on The Millwheel

Pandora, a long‑haired brindle-torti cat with warm brown highlights, stands on a stone millwheel outdoors, looking directly at the camera with a poised, confident expression. Sunlight catches the texture of her fur, and behind her are shrubs, bare branches, and a bright yellow spring flower under a clear blue sky. The scene feels calm and majestic, as though Pandora is surveying her garden kingdom.

In another sunny moment, Pandora was kind enough to let us take this picture! MOL

In other news...

Fudge Enjoying A Spot of Heat Therapy

Fudge, a relaxed ginger cat, is stretched out on a textured rug in front of a glowing wood‑burning stove, his paws neatly crossed as he soaks up the warmth. The soft firelight highlights his fur while fireplace tools stand nearby, creating a snug, peaceful scene of pure heat‑therapy bliss.

Meanwhile, Fudge took the opportunity to optimise his heat therapy session while the others were outside!

He said, and I quote, "All the more warms for me!" MOL

And finally, this week

Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick

This time, Melvyn is modelling Spring Vibes, and he's absolutely loving it!

This one was a landslide in the voting, well done everypawdy!!!

Melvyn, a tabby cat with brown, black, and white markings, stands on a wooden sideboard wearing a bright purple floral “Spring Vibes” bandana. His eyes are closed in a relaxed, contented expression, as though he’s fully embracing the moment. Behind him is a cosy, stylish room with warm lighting, framed artwork, plants, and a lamp, giving the scene a calm, homey feel.

He's feeling so fluffing epic; it's not measurable by any instrument on Earth! MOL

A curved string of pastel pennant flags hangs in gentle arcs, with triangles in soft blue, pink, yellow, and green. At each peak of the curve sits a white flower with a yellow center, giving the decoration a cheerful, festive look suitable for celebrations or spring‑themed designs.

Which one should he model next?

Here's the March Bandana Selection, and as we're headed full steam into Spring, we chose some colourful and bright bandanas for this month. Plus, it's St Paddy's Day, too, and how could we not have one for that epic day!

It's St. Paddy's next Tuesday, so we know which one should be next!!! MOL

The Sunday Selfies and Caturday Art Blog Hops at BBHQ **FEATURING** Parsley, Fudge and Melvyn's Back Door Step Selfie

Four illustrated cats pose together in front of a bright field of yellow tulips. From left to right: Fudge, a ginger cat; Parsley, a black cat; Smooch, a white cat with black markings; and Melvyn, a brown, black, and white tabby. Around them are scattered black‑and‑white Polaroid‑style cat selfies, and above the group is a white sign with a paw print and the text “Sunday Selfies ©BionicBasil®.

Furbulous Sunday greetings furiends

Welcome to another BBHQ selfie selection, and today, three B Team memfurs are starring in ...

Parsley, Fudge and Melvyn's Back Door Step Selfie

Parsley, a sleek black cat, sits on a decorative mat in the doorway, looking outside. Beside him, Fudge, a ginger cat with a fluffy tail, stands at the threshold peering out. Just beyond them, Melvyn — a tabby cat with brown, black, and white markings — stands on the flag stone, gazing into the courtyard. All three appear alert and curious as they watch the world beyond the door.

Yep, they all heard about the catnip plant Parsley found a week or so ago... but the P.A. had cut it back. So everypawdy was quite fluffed off! MOL

They even rang Catline and reported 'fresh catnip denial by staff' ... the case is pending ...

**Mid-afternoon update**

**DISTRESSING NEWS**

This morning, on a routine web search, the P.A. found a website

www . mycatshome . com

They have been scraping our blog illegally since January 2026.

They have taken our posts - 20+, so far - and rewritten them probably with A.I., using all the B Team cats, our 'speech', even going as far as taking the first What the Fluff Q&A post, completely rewriting it and creating new lore and characters.

This is serious enough on its own. But it gets worse, they have even accused us of A.I. written nonsense, using the Valentine's Brain Training with Cats post as their example, in black and white for all and sundry to see. This really hissed the P.A. off, like seriously, she was spitting brimstone.

And it gets worse, they are a commercial site selling A.I. cat doors and collars. So they are using everything they've scraped from us to sell their products, as there are multiple product links in some posts.

They are accusing us of being a shonky A.I. written site, all the while probably using A.I. to content scrape us, A.I. to rewrite our posts to fit their narrative, and their A.I. products ... LIKE, WHAT THE FLUFFING FLUFF!????

They have included links back to our blog for each post they have used. Like wow!

They have already been sent a DMCA. We have downloaded the 20+ links, screenshots, and webpages, and given them 72 hours to comply.

But it gets even worse. We are not the only ones there -  the P.A. also saw:

The Catblogosphere

15 and Meowings blog

There may be others, so please go and check whether any of you are there.

There is an email address on the 'contact us' page for you to send a DMCA.

We have also posted on Facebook in these groups:

We're off to cruise around the garden and see what's happening. We're waiting to see when the hedgehogs wake up, and if the weather warms up again, then sooner rather than later.

Smooch is camped out in the kitchen. The P.A. asked him if he wouldn't prefer to be outside. He grumbled and said he has to make sure that lunch is served on time ... yep ... he's on a one-cat mission for lunch at 1pm, sharp!

We'll see mew bright and breezy in the morning, don't ask us what with, because we're having a hard time deciding what to share from the three options we have. So surprise! MOL

We do hope mew have an epic day
