Welcome to another BBHQ selfie selection; this week, as it's the last Sunday before Catmas, we decided to share a supurr fun festive selfie!

The Return of the Catmas Carol Ambush Squad: Operation Sleigh Bells & Shenanigans

As the frost nipped at the whiskers of Mewton-Clawson and the scent of cinnamon wafted through the air (courtesy of Smooch’s experimental mince pie cologne), the Catmas Carol Ambush Squad reassembled for our annual mission: Operation Sleigh Bells & Shenanigans.

This year, we upgraded our stealth tactics. Gone are the days of simply lurking behind shrubbery or camouflaging ourselves as festive topiary. No, no... this season, we’ve gone full ninja. Our Catmas Tree now comes equipped with retractable branches, jingling decoy baubles, and a built-in snack dispenser (for morale purposes, obviously).

Despite the occasional BAHUMBUG barricade, one resident even tried to repel us with a spray bottle labelled “Anti-Carol Mist,”- we remained completely undeterred. Our mission is clear: raise funds for less fortunate felines, spread cheer, and ambush with true B team style and panache!

We’ve discovered that surprise serenades at 6:03 a.m. are particularly effective. Nothing says “festive generosity” like being startled awake by a chorus of meows harmonising to Silent Night while a Catmas Tree slowly rotates outside your window.

And yes, Parsley is still prepping for his solo. He’s been warming up with interpretive dance routines and vocal exercises that sound suspiciously like yowling at squirrels. We expect a performance of O Holy Meow that will go down in village history.

So if mew spot a suspiciously mobile tree shimmying past your garden gate, don’t panic. It’s just us, the Catmas Carol Ambush Squad, armed with jingles, joy, and a donation tin shaped like a fish.

Welcome to another BBHQ selfie selection; this week, as it's the last Sunday before Catmas, we decided to share a supurr fun festive selfie!

The Mewton-Clawson Cat Carol Ambush Squad

Every year, we go around Mewton-Clawson on our Annual Carol Singing gig as part of the:

And during said carolling, we collect money for less fortunate cats. We have found that some residents are erring on the BAHUMBUG vibe this festive season, which we can understand in this current fiscal climate.

However, we are rather resilient in our efforts to fundraise and often ambush residents when they least expect it, and more than likely have not got a pre-planned escape route.

I know, I know, but sometimes despurrate times call for despurrate measures, hence the meautiful Catmas Tree, which also serves as cover while we move around the village in stealth.

So if mew ever see a Catmas Tree mysteriously wandering around near mew, we can confirm it will be another Chapter of The Catmas Carol Ambush Squad, raising funds for good causes.

Oh, and if mew're wondering why Parsley isn't singing, he's just getting ready for his solo.
