Epic Wednesday Greetings Furiends

Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!

How's your week going? 

We don't know about mew, but the cold has been insidious the last week or two. The kind of cold that leaches what tiny amount of body heat mew are holding onto and then permeates your being to the very core with icy tendrils, leaving mew feeling akin to an ice cube. We have to say, we aren't loving it at all on any level, where the fluff is Spring?

We have had some rather brief sunny intervals and a bit of blue sky, which Fudge and Smooch are modelling below, but even then, the sun really wasn't dialled up to our desired level of warms. In fact, it was like the lights were on, but the heat pump was on the fritz. Very disappointing indeed! MOL

Is it too much to ask for a nice clement 22 to 24 degrees Celcius? APPARENTLY, IT IS!

We have to apologise for missing everypawdy's blog hops a couple of weeks ago. Last week, we did get the links in the hops but didn't get to comment on some blogs:- because after we'd visited Cat on My Head on Sunday morning something happened to the PC monitor, it kept flickering, then going black, and it was really strange so the PC then had to spend all of Sunday in clean up, defrag, debug and then scan mode. 

So many apologies for that; we'll endeavour to find a bit more time this week to catch up with mew all, stop by and say hi.

Anyhoo, let's look at what the heathens have been up to this week.

First up in the news 

 Fudge's Fleeting Sunspot

Yesterday, Fudge found this tiny patch of sunshine to try and warm him up for about two seconds. He then said, "Fluff this cold, I'm going back inside."

Mew know it's cold when Fudge doesn't want to stay outside.

Next up in the news

 Smooch's Sheltered Sunspot

Smooch was a bit luckier on Monday as he found this spot to enjoy a few pitiful warms. 

He didn't last long here before he moved back indoors.

In other news...

 Parsley Taking Five In The Courtyard

Parsley headed off into the courtyard after Sunday lunch and got on the bench; he wasn't there long. Yep, mew guessed it, it was too fluffing cold! MOL

And finally this week

Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick

This week mew chose: The White Hearts with glitter ribbon, and Melvyn loves it!

Sorry, there's no video this week; we are in a bit of a flux situation with social media. If we're honest, we detest it with a passion, so going forward at the moment, we are abandoning the video thing.

However, Melvyn says, if mew really, really, really want to see him on the BBHQ catwalk, do let us know, and we'll make it happen.

Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!

How's your week going? 

And OMC, it's Valentine's Month, so if mew're wondering, yes, we are sharing the love all month. Can't mew tell??? MOL

It's also The P.A.'s birthday today. So, Happy Birthday to The P.A.!

The weather has been cold, but there have been a few instances of sunshine; see Smooch below. This week, we are planting some bare-root roses. Mew may remember last year when we planted a rather special one called Raspberry Ripple. Well, the P.A. got two more of that variety and two new ripple ones called Oranges and Lemons, so we're supurr excited to see how they bloom. 

Quite a few jobs are happening in the BBHQ garden at the moment, including getting some catnip seeds planted before the month is out! MOL  

Anyhoo, let's look at what the heathens have been up to this week.

First up in the news 

Fudge's Supurr Floof - Look At My Tail

Fudge was inspecting the catnip pot in the courtyard, and he was very sad to report that after several bountiful years, this plant had finally given up the ghost. Hence, the reason for getting the catnip seeds started early this year.

Well, it wouldn't be BBHQ with copious amounts of catnip growing everywhere; plus, where would all the village cats go to have an epically epic time? MOL

Next up in the news

 Smooch Loves His Basket

Smooch was enjoying his basket under the gazebo the other morning. The sun was shining, the birds were tweeting, and all was supurr fluffy at BBHQ!

In other news...

 Parsley ~ Draw Me Like One of The French Cats

If mew remember last year, on one of the Photo Fails posts, Fudge, Amber and Pandora took up the challenge of:

And the other evening, we were quite surprised to find Parsley in the same pose! MOL

Although, Parsley is using a different terminology, which is:

It was a bit chaotic on the catwalk this week, but not as much as other times! MOL

We got another mysterious postcard from the Bahamas again, so we are pretty certain that W.D.G. is wintering there! MOL

Parsley's Up Close and Purrsonal Selfie on The Sunday Selfies Blog Hop & Caturday Art Hop

Supurr Sunday greetings furiends

Welcome to another BBHQ selfie selection. This week, Parsley is taking centre stage, and we think he looks EPIC!

Mew know, he's the BBHQ heavyweight, but he is such a gentle giant; he doesn't have a mean bone in his body, well, that's unless he's starring in a B Team Adventure, then he's as mean as fluff, and executes everything with extreme prejudice! MOL MOL MOL

We're also joining Athena's Furbulous Art Hop, so stop by and show off your pawesome arty-farty skills.

We're loving this effect today!

The effect was created with Befunky - AI Enhancer, Impressionist GFX + slight colour changes to hue and saturation.

We also turned this fab arty-farty picture into a puzzle, so do stop by the puzzle page and take the Puzzle Challenge, see if mew can beat our time of 10 mins 14 secs. 

Anyhoo, it's time for us to go and check the garden, as we had some tree trimming done yesterday, and we weren't allowed outside due to health and safety reasons. Then, it got dark, so we went to bed! MOL

Smooch is running on schedule today, and lunch will be served at 1.30 pm on the dot. He also requested chicken, so it's roast chicken with the lot. Do mew know he growled at Cat Dad last week for taking too long to carve the meat? He got rather upset, but it was all ok when his dish was placed in front of him and he wolfed the lot, then he moved on to Melvyn's and wolfed that too! MOL
