She felt it necessary to redeem herself after Friday's failure on the theme: Draw me like one of your French girls. Yes, she is fully redeemed. And wait until mew see the art—it's epic!

We're off to bask in some sun puddles. It will be warm early on with a chance of a thunderstorm later, so we're getting in front and making sure some basking is happening before we head back to the pawty in the bunker for another wild night.

Greetings to all the history aficionados and travel enthusiasts out there!

If mew're looking for a beautiful sight to see in Wiltshire, England, the Westbury White Horse is definitely worth checking out! It's a stunning chalk horse that was carved into the hillside of Westbury and is the oldest of its kind in the area dating back to the late 1600s. The horse measures an epic *180 feet long and 170 feet high, making it one of the largest hill figures in all of Britain. While nobody knows for certain where the horse came from, many believe that it was created to celebrate King George III's coronation in 1768. Originally outlined in yellow bricks, the horse was later replaced with white chalk in the early 1800s. Today, the Westbury White Horse continues to be a popular tourist attraction, and it's not hard to see why. Mew can spot it from miles around! A dedicated group of volunteers work hard to maintain the horse and keep it looking its best, and visitors are always welcome to hike up to it and enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. If mew happen to be in the area, don't miss out on this amazing piece of history! It's sure to be an unforgettable experience.

Anyhoo, it's time for us to go snooze, as the weather has been awful, and no sunspots have been sighted for days! 

Smooch is prepping for lunch and has told the P.A. that today she's got to make a new cheesecake, as he found a pawesome recipe in one of his cookery books by Mary Berry. We're just hoping the P.A. has all the ingredients. Otherwise, Smooch is going to throw a bit of a hissy fit! MOL

Welcome to another BBHQ selfie selection, this week we decided to visit meautiful Warwickshire (pronounced Warrick) and take in the beauty of this medieval fortress with a 900-year legacy. But don't worry we'll be back at another mysterious stone circle next week.

What a place, can mew imagine what it was like back in the day? WOW! Now this would have been a purrfect B Team HQ in the 12th century! MOL

Here's a little bit of info from BBHQ's Historical Travel Guide, Smooch:

Last week we had the honour of visiting Kenilworth Castle, a pawe-inspiring piece of history that has stood the test of time for almost 900 years. It is situated in Warwickshire, England and has played a significant role in English history over the centuries, from its construction by Geoffrey de Clinton in the 1120s to its partial destruction during the English Civil War in the 17th century. One of the most notable attractions of the castle is the Elizabethan gardens, which were created by Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester, in the 16th century. These gardens were designed to impress Queen Elizabeth I during her visit to the castle in 1575, and they indeed left a lasting impression. The gardens feature a stunning collection of intricate knot gardens, fountains, and a meautiful aviary, making it the perfect spot for nature enthusiasts and history buffs alike. In addition to the gardens, there are many other notable features of the castle that are worth exploring. The Great Hall is a magnificent example of medieval architecture, with its high ceilings and impressive fireplace. It was once the centre of political and social gatherings during the 16th century. We used Prisma this week, as none of the BeFunky effects really worked, and we think it turned out not too bad.

This week we used the Prisma IOS App, and the filter is called:- Leaf Fall.

We're off to get the P.A. to catch up on joining in the last week's blog hops, sadly she ran out of time. Seriously we'll be putting an ad out for a new P.A. soon if this shambles of a service continues! Mew just can't get the staff these days, and it's not like we don't pay her exceedingly well - if cat fur were currency she'd be a billionaire now! 

Then it's time for lunch, and Smooch is lurking under the kitchen table in stealth, quietly snoopervising to make sure the roast is cooked to his exact requirements, oh yes, he's getting rather pernickety, and then we think a little garden safari might be in order.
