**THE BBHQ MEW YEARS EVE NEWS ROUND-UP** Fudge's Living The High Life, Smooch Crushed The Cat Cave, Pandora and Parsley's Sit-Off (Stand-Off), and Melvyn's Modelling This Weeks Top Pick Bandana

A festive New Year’s Eve collage featuring ten cats wearing red and white Santa hats, arranged around a central headline that reads: “MEW YEARS EVE NEWS ROUND UP WITH THE B TEAM @BIONICBASIL” The background includes red and white patterns, holly leaves, and stylized newspaper graphics labelled “NEWS.” In the upper right corner, one cat has a speech bubble saying: “WHAT’S THE GOSSIP THIS WEEK?” The image playfully blends holiday cheer with feline-themed news, creating a whimsical and humorous celebration with The B Team.

Epically Festive Mew Years Eve Greetings Epic Furiends

Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!

We do hope mew've all been having a most epically epic holiday week, and are ready for 2026?

The weather at BBHQ has been nothing of note; in fact, it's been a grey affair with multiple drizzly, damp moments. Although to mix things up just a smidge, we had a mild frost this morning, it didn't last long.

Fudge and Melvyn have been having a great time, the Santa Paws Sled is still a firm favourite, with its catnip cushions.

Melvyn, the brown and white tabby cat, stands comfortably on a festive red and white Santa Paws Sled in a cozy indoor holiday setting. Nearby, Fudge, a ginger tabby cat, sits on the floor next to a cone-shaped Catmas Tree scratching post decorated with ornaments and gift boxes. A beautifully lit Christmas tree stands in the background, and large windows fill the room with natural light. Outside, a red British-style telephone booth adds a whimsical touch to the scene. Text at the bottom reads: “copyright www.bionicbasil.com”

And the Catmas Tree Scratcher is the best thing ever since Smooch created the Mind-Bender Nip Cocktail a few years ago! MOL

We'll be in the bunker later for our annual pawty, join us if mew get time! The password to enter the bunker is: Amber's NOT a Lush!!! MOL

Let's look at this week's news.
First up in the news

Fudge's Living The High Life

Fudge, a fluffy ginger tabby cat with green eyes, lounges comfortably on a curved wooden shelf mounted to a brick wall. His body is stretched out with his tail hanging over the edge, capturing a moment of relaxed feline elegance. The rustic brick backdrop and white molding below the shelf add warmth and charm to the cozy setting. Text at the bottom reads: “copyright www.bionicbasil.com”

Fudge was enjoying an early-afternoon nap on the cat shelf in the catservatory. He was snoozing until the P.A. appeared. She tripped over the rug, swore loudly and woke him up! #OHDEAR MOL

He said, and I quote, "Mew need to look where mew're walking, not out of the windows!"

Sadly, I can't repeat the reply!!! MOL

Next up in the news

Smooch Crushed The Cat Cave

Smooch, a white cat with black markings, rests peacefully inside a cozy gray felt cat bed with a red and white striped cushion. He wears a collar with a red bell and looks relaxed and content. The surrounding area features textured pillows and blankets, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Text at the bottom reads: “copyright www.bionicbasil.com”

We brought the cat cave in from the catservatory for Smooch and put it on the sofa in the sitting room. We thought he'd get inside, and supurr comfy, but no, he decided that a bit of remodelling was required and promptly sat on it! MOL
      In other news...

Pandora and Parsley's Sit-Off (Stand-Off)

Pandora, a tortoiseshell cat with a mix of dark and warm-toned fur, sits in the foreground on a woven rug, facing away from the camera. Further down the hallway, Parsley, a sleek black cat, is also facing away, positioned near a white door and a column-style plant stand. The hallway features light wooden flooring and a cozy, domestic atmosphere with a beige chair and soft lighting. The scene captures a quiet moment of symmetry and feline companionship. Text at the bottom reads: “copyright www.bionicbasil.com”

Pandora and Parsley have a love mew one minute, don't look at me the next type of relationship. This was the other day, when Parlsey took ownership of the kitchen, and Pandora wanted to get to the laundry for snacks.

It was a bit like a Lord of the Rings moment with Gandalf.

"MEW SHALL NOT PASS!"

MOL MOL MOL

Finally this week

Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick

Melvyn's modelling the Jingle All The Way to start the New Year!

Melvyn, a white and brown tabby cat, stands on a wooden floor indoors wearing a festive holiday-themed bandana. The bandana features colorful words like “HOLIDAY,” “WAY,” and “WISH,” along with snowflake designs. Melvyn looks to the left, alert and curious. In the background, chairs and seasonal decorations hint at a cozy Christmas setting. Text at the bottom reads: “copyright www.bionicbasil.com”

Melvyn is looking supurr epically cute, and he's really looking forward to 2026. He's decided that, even if a modelling agency wanted to sign him, commercial modelling really isn't for him; he just likes to do it because he can.

**THE BBHQ CATMAS EVE NEWS ROUND-UP** Three Cats in The BBHQ Garden, Fudge in The Tree, Pandora in The Catservatory, and Melvyn's Modelling This Weeks Top Pick Bandana

A festive collage featuring twelve cats wearing red and white Santa hats, arranged in front of a background filled with stylized newspaper graphics and holiday decorations. At the center is a decorative label that reads: "CATMAS EVE NEWS ROUND UP WITH THE B TEAM @BIONICBASIL®" In the top right corner, a speech bubble from one of the cats says: "WHAT'S THE GOSSIP THIS WEEK?" The image playfully presents the cats as holiday-themed news correspondents, blending humor and seasonal cheer.

Epically Festive Catmas Eve Greetings Epic Furiends

Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!

How's your week going? Not too frantic we hope, just a nice chilled vibe to start the festive season.

It's been a dull, damp, overcast vibe, with a couple of brief sun spots.

Oh wow, when we were looking through the BBHQ Photo Archive, we found this snow scene from early December 2023 - yep, almost a white Catmas but not quite! MOL

A snowy outdoor scene at BBHQ flashing back to 2023. A traditional red British telephone booth stands on the left, partially covered in snow. In the background, a single-story brick building with a snow-covered roof and windows sits quietly. A leafless tree dusted with snow stands in the yard, with a bird perched on one of its branches. Two brown bins and a red door are visible near the building. Snow blankets the ground and surrounding vegetation, creating a peaceful winter atmosphere. Text at the bottom reads: "copyright www.bionicbasil.com

There's nothing like fresh snow... but then it needs to fluff right off for another year! MOL

Melvyn, a tabby cat, sits beside the BBHQ Catmas Tree, gazing up curiously at one of the white and gold ornaments. The tree is beautifully decorated with stars, baubles, bows, and beaded garlands, all illuminated by warm white lights. It stands in a woven basket-style base on a mat, positioned in front of glass doors that reveal a softly lit room beyond. The cozy indoor setting captures a peaceful and festive holiday moment. Text at the bottom reads: "copyright www.bionicbasil.com"

Melvyn had to inspect the BBHQ Catmas Tree, he said, "Yep, this'll do!"

Let's look at this week's news.
First up in the news

Three Cats in The BBHQ Garden

A serene garden scene featuring three cats from BBHQ. Fudge, the ginger cat, is partially visible behind some bushes. Parsley, the fluffy black cat, sits near a cluster of plants. Smooch, the white and black tripawed cat wearing a pink collar, faces Parsley while sitting on the ground. The garden is enclosed by a wooden fence and filled with fallen leaves, bare bushes, and small lanterns, suggesting an autumn setting. Text at the bottom reads: "copyright www.bionicbasil.com"

Smooch, Parsley and Fudge in the garden on pawtrol!
Next up in the news

Fudge in The Tree

Fudge, the ginger tabby cat with green eyes, stands confidently on a tree branch at BBHQ. He wears an orange collar with a small bell and gazes intently downward, as if observing something below. Behind him is a brick building with a window, and a treehouse or birdhouse mounted on the tree. The scene captures a bold and curious moment in a natural outdoor setting. Text at the bottom reads: "copyright www.bionicbasil.com"

Fudge was up his favourite tree in the courtyard, inspecting everything from height.

He said, "There are a lot of leaves on the ground!"

The P.A. replied, "Get the leaf blower then and clean them up!"

In other news...

Pandora in The Catservatory

Pandora, a long-haired cat with a mix of brown, black, and orange fur, sits peacefully on a carpeted floor near a glass door. Sunlight streams through the glass, casting warm shadows across the carpet and highlighting the rich tones of her fur. She gazes outside, creating a tranquil and contemplative moment in a cozy indoor setting. Text at the bottom reads: "copyright www.bionicbasil.com"

Pandora found a weak sunpuddle in the catservatory a couple of weeks ago, it only lasted about five minutes before it started to rain! MOL

Finally this week

Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick

As it's Catmas, obviously the Catmas Mice bandana is this week's top pick, and here's Melvyn doing his thing, most festively! MOL

Melvyn, a tabby cat, sits proudly inside a festive red sleigh decorated with white and gold tinsel. He’s modelling a green Catmas Mice bandana adorned with cheerful holiday motifs like snowmen, presents, and trees. Behind him stands a decorated Christmas tree with ornaments, garlands, and twinkling lights. The cozy indoor setting features large windows revealing a garden view, adding to the seasonal charm. Text at the bottom reads: "copyright www.bionicbasil.com"

He did get distracted this week by a whole load of Kitty Kryptonite, but luckily, a smidge of a promise for more Kitty Kryptonite, and he got on his merry way.

Oh, and if mew forgot about the invisible monster behind the sofa, and Melvyn has NAMED him; it's all in the video! MOL

The BBHQ Midweek News Round-Up **SORRY FOR THE FLUFF UP** ~ Fudge and Smooch Are Sad, Pandora's Purrching, and Melvyn, Parsley, Pandora and Fudge Deciding What To Watch ~ **PLUS** Melvyn's Modelling

The Midweek News Round Up Banner ©BionicBasil® Frost Garden Winter 24

Pawesome Greetings Furbulous Furiends

Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!

Well, the weather at BBHQ has been a mix of rain, rain and more rain in varying degrees; it's been up to 14 degrees Celsius and down to 4 degrees Celsius. The bad news is that it's leaking in the crystal room; a couple of tiles have shifted and are now causing the issue. The P.A.'s cousin is a builder. He came out in January and said he'd be back when the weather was warmer, but, as with all family, he never followed through, and as it was supurr dry all year, we never really thought about it until now!!! MOL

Anyhoo, so it goes!

The P.A. still is feeling unwell; this flu is a really doozy. The P.A. rarely gets anything, so this has knocked her sideways.

We apologise for the Catmas card debacle. We ordered our cards last month as always, to get ahead of the curve. The P.A. went away for a week and forgot all about it. The cards didn't turn up, but then a week or two later, some other cards did, not ours, but for a company in Germany, and by the time this all happened, it was too late to post, so we feel really hissed off about that. So we'll have to send e-cards this year... sorry about that.

Fudge and Smooch Are Sad

In a garden setting, Ginger Fudge—a vibrant orange cat wearing a green collar—stands confidently on a moss-covered rock, gazing upward. Nearby, a white cat with black markings, affectionately known as the tripawed smooch, sits on a tiled surface looking toward Ginger Fudge. The scene is surrounded by dried plants, green foliage, capturing a moment of quiet connection between the two cats in their natural outdoor environment. Text at the bottom reads: "copyright www.bionicbasil.com"

Smooch and fudge were sad when they went into the garden the other day and saw the catmint... yep, it's looking even more sad than the P.A. feels right now.

Pandora's Purrching

Pandora, a fluffy torti cat, sits majestically atop a moss-covered stone in a lush garden. Surrounding her are vibrant green plants and foliage, creating a serene natural setting. In the background, a striking red vintage mechanical device with wheels and a handle adds a bold contrast to the greenery. The scene is outdoors, near a wooden structure, and captures Pandora as a regal focal point amid rustic charm. Text at the bottom reads: "copyright www.bionicbasil.com"

Pandora was purrching on one of the ancient rocks in the garden. We've never seen her do this before, but then she suddenly started doing a lot of things she's never done before! MOL

Melvyn, Parsley, Pandora and Fudge Deciding What To Watch

Four cats gather in a cozy living room. Two are perched on a plaid-covered sofa, while two sits on the floor in front. The room is warmly lit, with a cat tree in the background, decorative pillows, and a textured rug. The cats appear to be interacting or observing something together, creating a relaxed and social atmosphere. Text at the bottom reads: "copyright www.bionicbasil.com"

This was the scene in the sitting room the other night: a strong debate was underway about whether National Geographic on the Serengeti or the David Attenborough Ocean Odyssey was being watched. MOL

Amber said, "I'm too fluffing old for this!" And promptly went upstairs to watch the library shopping channel with Smooch!

The B Team's Midweek News Halloween Banner @BionicBasil®

Epically Spooky Greetings Furbulous Furiends

Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!

What a totally boring week weather-wise:- it's been dreary, overcast and dull with intermittent showers, and some heavier than others. The clocks went back an hour on Sunday morning, and we're not loving it being dark at 5.30pm, it really puts a dampener on pawtrols.

And if mew didn't see me on Monday's Bumper Brain Training post, it's the Mewton-Clawson Annual Zombie Hunt tonight. I was all geared up and ready to go, and then, I saw that my 2025 Zombie Hunter Permit was about to expire, again!

FLUFF ME!!

I can't believe I forgot, especially after last year! MOL

Luckily, I know a lovely lady cat who works in the local Town Hall. Her name is Daphne, and I saved her three years ago from a weird wolf attack on Hexpaw Hill, so I made a call, and she got my permit approved instantly. EPIC!

Take a look at the local poster advertising the event. It features Dirk the Dangerous; he's from Upper Fluffton, a small hamlet about a mile to the north of Mewton-Clawson.

Digitally illustrated anthropomorphic cat in futuristic armor, wielding a large weapon and standing in a misty, leafless forest. The scene promotes “The Mewton-Clawson Annual Zombie Hunt” with bold text asking “Are mew ready to tag and bag the undead?” and “How many will mew get?” alongside 29 tally marks and a red paw print. The eerie setting, combat-ready feline, and Halloween-themed challenge blend sci-fi and spooky humour. Halloween cat zombie hunt, futuristic feline illustration, spooky cat event, digital Halloween art, cat-themed combat poster, and creative Halloween pet content from www.bionicbasil.com.

In 2023, Upper Fluffton was overrun with zombies, and thank cod Dirk, who'd only just moved there after a rather colourful career in a special ops force, was on paw to save the residents.

It was only fitting after he'd saved everypawdy that he is the poster cat of choice for this annual event, and fluff me, he looks as mean as hell, doesn't he?

So wish us luck tonight, and we'll let mew know how many we tagged and bagged next week.

Bold red title text and series branding complete the dramatic composition - read the adventure at www.bionicbasil.com

Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.

First up in the news

 Parsley's Got Gordon The Ghost

Parsley the black cat lounging on a patterned fabric rug, surrounded by Halloween-themed plush toys including a red chili pepper, a brown pumpkin toy, and a white ghost plush with black eyes and mouth. The ghost toy rests on the cat’s front legs, creating a cozy cuddle pose. The scene blends playful Halloween charm with feline relaxation,“black cat Halloween photo,” “cat with ghost plush,” “festive pet photography,” “Halloween cat toys,” “spooky cat cuddle,” and “creative Halloween pet content” from www.bionicbasil.com

Gordon the Ghost keeps appearing in the most unlikely of places around BBHQ, and so do the catnip pumpkins. The P.A. puts the toys back in the open toy basket just before bed every night, and every morning, there's one or more pumpkins strewn in the kitchen, and Gordon is in the most random of places.

Parsley decided that Gordon needs snoopervising, and so he's keeping a very close eye on the little ghost.

Smooch didn't think anypawdy could see him as he sat in the office chair and peeked over the back - yep, he's sneaky! MOL
