Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!
It's been a rather cool week a BBHQ, no rain but dropping temperatures, which, in all honesty, we're not too thrilled about, as our summer was a very hit and miss affair, which a few short weeks of hideous scorchio temperatures and the rest of the time a combination of a complete miserable washout and dull damp-squib days.
But, the weather aside, just look what we've got lined up for mew...

Yep, hold onto your hat, your furry pants or whatever mew can, as The Purrminator is HERE!
And jumpin' fluffing juniper berries, poor little Melvyn is on the run from that. How will he survive? Only Bast knows!
But rest assured, we can confirm it is epically epic, supurr exciting with all the things mew love about The B Team, which are really big guns, monstrous explosions, terror at every turn, suspense, malevolent evil dudes, never knowing what might happen next (even The P.A. doesn't know any of this either right now, and she's fluffing writing it!!! MOL), but we can still guarantee that it's going to be one fluff of a ride as young Melvyn desperately tries to find his Great Uncle Basil aka me and sanctuary, while being pursued across time and space by The Purrminator.
Fluff me, I'm exhausted after that paragraph, and I'd better go and tell The P.A., "Chop chop, we've got readers waiting... no dawdling, shilly-shallying, no not turning up to work, no time off, just get the story fluffing written, and we'll worry about the spelling mistakes and grammatical errors later!"
I won't tell mew what the P.A.'s reply was. However, we bet mew can guess! MOL

Smooch and Melvyn Are Not Happy That The P.A. Wants to Move The Desk
The radiator has been leaking; the P.A. only just found it, and she wanted to move the desk.
We were not up for that, at all, on any level. So Melvyn and Smooch staged a bit of a sit in and sit on, thus preventing said desk from being moved.
The P.A. has plans today to move the desk by any means necessary, so we're not sure how Smooch or Melvyn are going to deal with that! MOL
We'll keep mew apprised on this story as it unfolds.

Amber and Fudge's Latest Book Meeting
Amber and Fudge have reached a bit of a stalemate. Mew see, Fudge went to the library and borrowed a new book called Cats'n'Guns by Sgt. Boomer Hackenfluff.
Anyhoo, Fudge was only supposed to have it for a week. IT'S NOW BEEN TWO FLUFFING MONTHS, and he's still not returned it.
The late fees are piling up, and actually, Amber really likes this as it means more money for new books. But I digress; the problem is that Fudge has actually lost the book, and he daren't tell Amber as it was a signed, limited first edition copy. There are no more copies anywhere to buy to replace it - oh dear.
I had four words for Fudge.

Black Cat Surpise was voted for last week, and here he is, looking supurr cute!
We did laugh when making the video, as Melvyn decided to have a little roll on the rug in the sitting room and purrfect his 'blue steel' look! If mew're really observant, mew will see he stuck his tongue out just before the clip rolled on! MOL
