Supurr Friday greetings pawesome pals

Happy Friday, and TGIF!  What a week, but hey ho tomorrow is Caturday and all will be well in the wurld fur the next 48 hours! MOL 

Before we dive into our usual speel, we've noticed recently that a lot of blogs are becoming harder and harder to comment on and some won't even let us leave a comment ???  as we we're headed through our weekly list, several blogs wouldn't let us comment even though we're signed in; it said that we were trying to comment anonymousely.  So we have no clue what's going off there, so if mew haven't heard from us in a few weeks, that's means we are no longer able to comment on your blog - so sorry, we have no clue how to fix it.


The Time Travelling Bobble Hat is winging its way to the next blog as we type, there was a little hiccup, one of the blogs on the list received it but said they knew nothing about it, and had neffur heard of me and therefore didn't want it so they have furry kindly sent it on to the next recipient.  Thank mew fur forwarding it.

So just to clarify, all the blogs on the list have requested the bobble hat be sent to them, and if mew'd like to join the tour, leave us a comment either here or on the TTBH page [link above] and we'll add mew.   

We'd also like to reiterate:

It is NOT compulsory fur any kitty to wear the hat, as we know that some kitties would hate it and we'd neffur want anypurrdy to be stressed out or traumatized.  All we ask is mew give it a quick mention, stick it on a soft toy or something, post a pic and we'll add money to the Rescue Fund fur the kitties in need, it's not hard, it's not stressful and mew're helping a great little independent rescue here in Nottinghamshire by featuring it.

Mew may remember ages and ages ago that we mentioned about being in Sir Snowies 2017 charity calendar, well there was a mix up with the delivery.  But they eventually arrived in February and the P.A. put them somewhere to add to a give-away and then they got moved and then we furgot and this week we found them! MOL

So we thought we'd better do a give-away post haste as we're tramping on at light speed through this year! MOL

Welcome to another glorious Spring Pet Parade

This week mew've probably seen that Pandora failed her digger driver training, I couldn't believe it when she refused to get in and give it whirl, she said and I quote, 

"This equipment is not standard spy issue," Pandora said in her clipped accent. "I vas 'oping fur more of a stealth bomber or something!"

Really? Seriously? I know we're real good and have lots of uber cool military toys, but a stealth bomber, jeez I think she's been watching too many Bond movies on the QT ~ we're not MI5! MOL

In other news, I'm feeling oodles better and mew can see hanging from my collar, the speshul pendant that came with my homeopathic treatment to help with my pancreatitis, the P.A. spoke with the furry nice lady at Crossgates Farm yesterday and talked through my results and it would appear that the before and aftur results are really positive, so hopefully I'll continue to improve and keep the pesky pancreatitis at bay. 

As mew can see I was in the shed helping, sorry snoopervising the P.A. while she was making some trees fur our new venture, Kit Knit CosPlay, where we are doing some really fun things.  Admittedly the new blog isn't live live yet as we're still wurking on props; mew can see the pawesome castle behind me that Merlins mum, Alice made and we've painted it and are just adding some finishing touches, Agent J is knitting the costumes we'll be featuring and we also have an Etsy Store with some really cute stuff, more products will be added in the coming weeks. 

The main event will be a monthly Cos Play set featuring [probably] Fudge as he's the most compliant fur dressing up right now.  Our furst set is Sir Fudge'a'lot of Cattalot and will feature Flambe the Dragon, obviously we can't give too many details away as that will spoil the surprise fur mew, but know it's going to be so much fun! MOL

We're hoping to go live in April, so we'll keep mew posted.

Supurr Salutations and Greetings Wunderpurr Furriends

As mew can see we've really got our green on today! MOL

Well whats been happening this week, I hear mew ask?

Mew've met the newbies and they're now enlisted in our Kitty Commando Training Academy.  They are on the intensive programme, so are learning weapons skills this week.  Howeffur Pandora is quite the little madam.  She said and I quote, "I vant to be a spy Basil, and mew may call me Pandora Von DaPlume!"

I looked at her, bemewsment readily apparent all offur my furry chops.  "And what makes mew think mew can be a spy?" I asked.

"Because I am Pandora Von DaPlume and I vould make a most excellent agent!" she said in her strange little foreign accent. "I speak many languages and 'ave many skillz that mew may not know about."

I raised an eyebrow and said. "Such as?"

Her glittering eyes narrowed and she smirked. "I did a lot of research on mew and it vould seem that mew vurked fur the F.I.B., aftur checking out your furry impressive credentials, I decided that I too vould be purrfect fur that life."

I must admit she does have great evasive skillz, as no matter how much I pressed her fur info, she was not forthcoming and changed the subject each time.

"OK Pandora," I said finally aftur dancing around an invisible mulberry bush in our verbal sparing session. "I'll tell mew what..."

She looked at me expectantly, a slight smile tugging at her mouth.

"Once mew've completed your Kitty Commando Training we'll talk about the spy stuff, ok?"

She gave me a curt nod and said, "I knew mew vould see things my vay eventually. and by the vay Fudge is a complete menace and I vould suggest that he is neffur left alone vith any kind of veapon, that is unless mew vant the bunker blown to bits!"

And with that she vanished.  "Furry impressive," I thought. "She'll make an excellent addition to the B Team."

At that moment there was an almighty boom, and a thick, black smoke cloud rose skywards.  Next came whooping and hollering and I launched offur the back fence towards the field, where to my utter dismay I found Fudge with a rocket launcher, with Smoochie & Parsley. They were all grinning and guffawing like complete loons as one of the round bales burnt to a charred crisp.  Before I could reach them Fudge fired again at another bale.  BOOM!  The huge bale exploded into a ferocious fireball.

"STOP! STOP!" I yelled as they rolled around on the grass laughing their socks off.

 Fudge swung around and stared at me, rocket launcher waving all offur the place.  I ducked several times and in that moment I knew he had less sandwiches in his picnic hamper than the P.A.

"Oh no!" was all I could mutter. 

"TIME OUT GUYS!" I shouted. "Rocket launcher class is done."

Fudge stared at me, his eyes had that slightly glazed look of pure ecstasy and then he spun around and pointed the weapon at another bale and BOOM!

Smoochie and Parsley were crying with laughter, but Parsley managed to say between gasps of air, "And mew thought that we were a liability, jeez Basil we've got nothing on that nutjob!!!" 

"Yeah!" agreed Smooch as he pulled out a bag of marshmallows and began to toast one on the nearest flaming bale. "Where the flip did mew recruit him from?" then added rather genially. "Marshmallow anyone?"

I snatched the stick from his paw and ate the hot sticky mess, I knew I shouldn't but I needed to think. 

"C.J. Catkin sent him," I finally said.

"Did mew and C.J. fall out or something?" Parsley asked.

I shook my head and tapped my comms unit.  "Snowie get C.J. on the phone purrlease, this is an emergency!"

We wish mew most excellent Friday greetings fabulous furriends 

And hope mew've all had an amazing week

Mew may remember last Friday's post, where I shared my 'NOT CLONE' 

Well, the P.A. finally got a response to her email regarding the 'not clone', and aftur several back and forths, Cuddles Clones are taking that one back and re-doing it, so paws crossed it will actually look more like me when it is returned.  So we'll be shipping it back tomorrow and hopefully get one in time to take to Blog Paws.

Anyhoo let's talk about something fun, like our new fursibs, Fudge & Pandora, aren't they just smashing, supurr, great? MOL

So here's the two new Heathens, Fudge has no sense of danger at all on any level - oh and mew can see some of the new patio and froggy pond, though its not quite finished.  Pandora is a little sweetheart and does an awful lot of talking, though she doesn't like nip - YEP MEW HEARD ME - which we all find furry bizarre and she doesn't like treats, which we find even more bizarre, and we think she has no purr, Smooch can't purr either, neffur has.  So the Fudginator and Miss Pandora obviously came from our favourite rescue the Burton Joyce Cat Rescue in Nottingham, where they'd been residents fur quite some time.

Fudge was being fed by a lovely lady, who so desperately wanted to keep him but her four elderly cats were having none of it, so she reluctantly took him to Aunty Elaines, where he had furry little interest from peeps looking to adopt.  We think it was because in his write-up/bio it said he was a road accident waiting to happen, Aunty Elaine was delighted when the P.A. asked about him as she knew he'd be better in Sweepy Ville where it's not so busy.  He's approximately 15 months old now and the youngest memfur of The Heathen Hoard

Pandora was found pregnant and abandoned in a field this time last year.  Luckily she was taken to the rescue where she delivered a healthy litter of kittens.  Her kittens were all adopted as soon as they were ready but sadly no-one wanted her.  She's about 2 years old now and is such a cute little cat, although we think she's almost doubled in size since we got her, which is probably due to finally having a home and being settled fur the furst time in her life.

They are currently enrolled in our Kitty Commando Training Academy as obviously we can't just expect them to know effurything about tanks, guns, choppers, tech, the bunker and our secret double-life of saving the wurld at least once a year. So we'll be giving mew updates on their training as obviously we've got a new adventure starting soon and they need to be ready! MOL

Pawesome Friday Greetings Furriends

I'm feeling much better this week and as mew can see we've decided that Spring has Sprung as we're so sick of looking at the winter banner now! MOL

Mew may remember on Wednesday, Amber said I had a surprise fur mew. Well sadly the surprise isn't exactly fantastic, the P.A. is totally gutted and so disappointed.  Let me tell mew the story...

Last June me and The Hoard bought the P.A. a ticket to Blogpaws in Myrtle Beach, as fur the previous 3 years there had been several incidents that prevented her from going.  So we were determined that she had no excuse fur 2017.  That said obviously me and The Horde can't go in purrson as we're from the UK, so I said to the P.A. get a cuddle clone of me made to take with mew.

So in January we went to the Cuddle Clones website and added a gazillion pictures of me and gave instructions fur my doppelganger to be made.  Bearing in mind that it cost $460.00 US dollars to have it made, shipped and then the duty/VAT coming into the UK. [And it was a gift fur the P.A. from her mum].

Yesterday the box arrived and the P.A. was so furry excited, as were we, that was until she opened the box. Then this happened:

WHO IS THAT?

The P.A. wept!  I wept!  The Horde wept! 

Like what the flip happened?  They had about 15 magnificent photos of yours truly - front, both sides, rear, tail, close-ups of my face etc and this is what they produce?

Jeez dudes at the Cuddle Clone place, are mew blind?

The P.A. is emailing them to see what they have to say about it, because as far as I'm concerned it's just so not good enough fur the money paid.

What do mew guys think? 

And what the flip is the P.A. going to do now, as they take up to 3 months to make!
