Pawesome Friday Greetings Furriends
Welcome to the Pet Parade and our weekly news round up!
It's the second day of meteorological* spring.... Yeah right, whose having a laugh???
Meteorological* spring starts on the 1st and astronomical -normal- spring starts on the 20th of the month, and as we're sick of winter we thought we'd go with the early option this year fur a change.
As mew know if mew've already visited this week, we've got the Beast from the East attacking right now, and no it's a weather front not an actual monster! MOL
This was our pond this yesterday morning, before we turned the pumps off as the water was getting too low.
Fudge had neffur experienced snow before and didn't like his paws getting cold. He insisted on accompanying the P.A. yesterday while she was filling the burd feeders and getting the burds baths refilled as they'd completely frozen...
..so aftur rushing back indoors, he had to warm himself up by trying to kill the red dot, and yes he jumps up walls, but it certainly got his circulation moving! MOL
And just to make it all the more interesting, there's still more snow to come as another storm is heading northwards bringing further blizzards and freezing temperatures, don't mew wish mew were here right now... no, we didn't think so! MOL
Wednesday night it was -6c with a 'real feel' of -18c
So to all our pals in the UK and around Europe, we hope you're staying safe and keeping warm, and remember next week it'll be like it neffur happened, hopefully.
Plus, mew may remember the old saying:
'In Like A Lion, Out Like A Lamb' fur the month of March?
If it rings true this year, it should be lovely later in the month, a pawsible, veritable heatwave compared with now!
