Our headline this week is, Thank Mew Dash Kitten!
Very many thanks to our wunderpurr friend Marjorie at Dash Kitten, who is championing our cause and rallying the troops, what cause we hear mew ask?
Well, some of our amazing readers will already know that one of our posts was reported to Facebook late last Friday evening as spam, abusive and offensive. This is the actual post that got reported, and Fudge wants to know why his post is abusive, spammy and offensive?
Because the last time we looked huge, floofy tails are NOT abusive, offensive or spammy in any capacity in any dimension!
So if any of mew have any clue, do enlighten us.
In the meantime, we've contacted Facebook many times since Caturday and disputed their wild and unfounded accusations, yet at this juncture we've heard nothing. We've also had to remove our web address from our Instagram accounts as it is now classed; as a link that is not allowed, as they restrict certain content to protect their community! Jeez anyone would think we were offering up pay-per-view kitty porn, catnip snuff movies, live mouse hunts with torture scenes, and other equally absurd things here! MOL
Come on, we're the cleanest and furiendliest type of blog out there, like all our pet blogging buddies; family-friendly, just really nice with lashings of fun.
So I digress, our blog is now banned from sharing links on FB, and all our blog posts since 2012 shared on FB have been removed, not just from The B Teams page but also from our P.A.'s author page, our groups and the P.A.'s main wall, everything is gone, so that tells us there's more to this than it appears.
One thing we are certain of is, whoever decided to report us is a complete and total flufftard - and if that purrson is reading this, we have this special message just for mew:
Obviously you have issues, lots of them and quite frankly we don't give a fluff what they are.
We've met plenty of peeps like mew before, and you're all the same. And you know what you are.
We will continue to post, share our posts and have fun every week here at BBHQ.
So crawl back under your rock and we really hope you have a lovely, supurr, smashing floofy day!

I think that Fudge's floof is totally pawsome! I can't believe that someone would report you and it is even more unbelievable that Facebook booted you. I hope that you can appeal this and if there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.

That is absolutely horrible! Who would do such a thing? They need to get a life!
ReplyDeleteI really do loathe Facebook... but you probably already know that. You can still include your blog on Instagram - use linktr.ee - you can add it there, plus other social media accounts, and they give you one link that lists all of them on one page. I did that when IG and FB had a glitch with my blog.

Whoever reported your post really is a pathetic individual.
I'm in the same boat, since early March! Cannot put my blog posts on the FB page that I created for it, and all old posts are gone. Had to remove the blog addy from IG too. Don't know what was considered 'abusive' about my blog; I simply post about my cats or other cats. I've tried every way I can to get in touch with FB, so someone could at least give me an answer, but there is no contact information other than 'report a problem'.

I know why Facebook did that, because they suck, but not quite as much as the person who reported your post. We love your posts and we'll aways be here too.
ReplyDeleteThat makes me angry...and of late when peeps send me links they are now not allowed or the message I get is that the author gave the wrong URL, or took it down themselves...as if.

Maybe they have nothing better to do...yup...idleness is the ddevils workshop.
Long time ago I heard that FB was not allowing individual cats or dogs or other animals to have their own pages...but this is now beyond ridiculous.Hope you can get back on, but after all that may be you don't??
And Fudge's floof is super duper floofy indeed! Today I saw a big floofy kitty that was roaming ina greenhouse, but his floof was nothing like yours, Fudge. You could win any floof contest!!

Well Fudge, I don't know why your reported as SPAM, ABUSIVE AND/OR OFFENSIVE. It's not SPAM, ABUSIVE OR OFFENSIVE to us. Mom says that's one reason she's not on Facebook. Come to think of it she's not on many social media sites at all for that reason. We love your post. We love you love cats and animals. Mom reported a post once but that's because it was filled with the F word. Your post shouldn't have been reported.
