Welcome to
Happy Friyay Fab Pals
Welcome to our Friday Fluffers post where we showcase a selection of photo bloopers or photo fails from BBHQ, the photos that we thought would neffur see the light of day, buried deep, deep, deep in the archives on level 12 of our secret bunker, with no chance of effur being seen on the interwebs fur the wurld to see... UNTIL NOW!
Are mew ready fur some fun outtakes from The B Team? Of course mew are!
And today we're sharing our Angel Fursibs; Posie who departed 22nd April 2015 and Snowie and Humphrey who departed 17th & 18th April 2017, they left within 24 hours of each other.

And furst on the podium is Angel Posie's Seductive Selfie, we think she was taking a few pics for her dating profile! MOL
Next up is Angel Snowie, sleeping with the enemy; not only is she snuggling with ratty there's also a furry mousie too... tsk tsk tsk!
And finally, Angel Humphrey's attempt at being Kitty Claws in December 2008, he was too fat for the red jacket #OOPS!
This week we're also joining in Friday Fill-ins with the fabulous 15 & Meowing and Four-Legged Furballs.

The P.A.'s answers are...
1. Being able to rescue all the animals I have is a privilege.

Today we take the time to remember our angel buddies who sadly departed for The Rainbow Bridge this year and all those from previous years too.
Gone but neffur ever forgotten

We are not strangers to loss at BBHQ, and know how hard it is; not a day goes by when we don't think about Posie, Snowie, Humphrey and Millie - below, she departed long before we started the blog, but what a gorgeous little cat she was.
The P.A. and dad are still grieving the loss of our beloved Basil and they've said on many occasions since his departure in 2018, 9th September that they don't think they'll ever truly get over it.
If any of mew feel the same and are struggling with the loss of a furry companion, or ever want to talk about it, we'll always listen if mew ever need an ear.
1. Being able to rescue all the animals I have is a privilege.
2. I was so embarrassed when I tripped on my flip-flops/doormat, fell into the door frame and nearly knocked myself out while trying to pick up Fudge!
3. I can’t help but smile when I come home after work and see my furry welcoming committee aka The B Team all waiting in the porch for me as I open the door.
4. Bad manners, rudeness and ignorance have gotten out of hand in recent times. I get a little peeved when for instance I hold a door open for someone and they don't say thank you. Or you say good morning etc to people in your local community and they ignore you. I was brought up to be polite, kind and respectful, sadly those traits don't apply anymore, especially with the younger, overly entitled generations. It's very sad.

Beautiful tributes and the photos brought a smile to my face. No matter how much time we have with them, it's never enough.
ReplyDeleteAll of your Angels are missed. I do know what you mean about never getting over Basil's departure. I feel the same about Flynn. I nursed him for two years and he fought so hard to stay. In the end he let me know he was too tired to keep fighting. Different memories still bring back that horrible gut wrenching feeling when I held him as we said goodbye. Tears again.
ReplyDeleteThe One & Only Basil ~ surely he is rocking & rolling up in heaven ... and keeping all on their paws! And your "other" angels, how handsome and beautiful, one and all ... thank you for sharing them with us ...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tribute to all your angels. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I agree about bad manners- holding the door and not being thanked irks me too. Have a nice weekend. XO
ReplyDeleteI kept looking for Basil! I must've scrolled through the top half of the post ten times! Little did I know you saved the very best for last. We remember all your angels with you - but as you know, Basil will always have a special place in my heart that is only his The world just isn't the same without him here <3
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tribute. That striped Tabby Cat looked like my Tigger Kitty. She earned her wings 9-11-2015 and went to the Rainbow Bridge.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the wonderful memories shared for Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day from Deb and Mr. Jazz of Purr Prints of the Heart.
ReplyDeleteGreat fluffers, sweet friends. We're sending you lots of love, and purrs as you remember your beloved angels Basil, Posie, Snowie, Humphrey, and Millie.

ReplyDeleteWhat precious kitty photos you shared today! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! You are so right about #1, and I also completely relate to #3. Cats make this world more bearable. Purrs!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your angels with us at Friendship Friday at Create With Joy. I am so sorry that so many of your precious babies are no longer with you. So much of their amazing purr-sonalities shine through so brightly on their photos! Congrats for being one of our Featured Friends this week. I instantly fell in one of your angels the first time I saw their photo - can you guess which cat I featured?
