And finally this week, Giant Sunflowers at BBHQ. This year we had four that made to nearly 8ft or 2.4 m high so we're supurr chuffed about that, although the wind did blow the 3 on the rear fence over a bit so we've got to go and tie them up later.
But isn't this one gorgeous?
They are such happy flowers, did mew grow any this year?

Amber has found a monthly subscription box that has cat books - OMC it's true - her furst box arrived a couple of weeks ago and her second one has just been shipped, she's epically ecstatic and even more so because she subscribed with Parsley's credit card... but more on that another day.
She can't wait to reveal the contents to mew in October, so stay tuned for her Book Reviews to return next month.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous sunflower! At petcretary's work, in a courtyard, there are several of them towering over the heads of any and all who go out onto the patio there. They are SO huge! No pesky varmints can get in there unless they fly...so those sunflowers are having ideal conditions to get bit. We had a few, as volunteers from the bird feeders, they get so big and the squirrels chop them down to gobble them up...
