The effect was created with Befunky - Underpainting DLX + changes to saturation.

We also turned this fab arty-farty picture into a puzzle, so do stop by the puzzle page and take the Puzzle Challenge, see if mew can beat our time of 10 mins 02 secs.

Anyhoo it's time for us to get ready for Nanny and Grampaw who are coming for lunch. We're having roast beef, roast potatoes, broccoli, peas, carrots, leeks, stuffing, onion sauce, gravy, and Yorkshire puddings followed by blackberry and apple pie with custard or ice cream.

We won't be here tomorrow as it's The Queen's funeral, and don't feel that it is appropriate to post our usual September 19th Meow Like A Pirate Day, so do join us on Tuesday when we'll be back on The Crimson Revenge... ARRRRRRRRRR!

Wishing mew lots of snoozy snuggles

  1. If I were in London, I'd have joined The Queue, because something like that will never happen again.

  2. That is a wonderful selfie to honor the Queen, sweet pals. Have fun with Nanny and Grampaw. XO

  3. You all look wonderful in your bandanas to honour the Queen. I only post on a Friday but I won't be commenting and probably won't turn the computer on.

  4. You all look wonderful - and that is, indeed, a Wonderfully Epic Tribute to Her Majesty. Mummy was born in England, and She, too, is furry sad that the Queen has crossed her Rainbow Bridge - and yes, it really was a Rainbow Bridge, wasn't it? We saw it on TV. If Mummy were in England now, She would definitely have gone to pay her respects at the Lying-in-State. As it is, We are all planning on watching the funeral tomorrow.
Enjoy your lunch with Nanny and Grampaw.

  5. The kitties are lookin' good in their bandannas; what a nice way to honor the Queen. Sounds like quite a feast with Nanny and Grampaw, have fun.

  6. You all look great. That is a wonderful way to honor the queen. That dinner sounds amazing. Thank you for the puzzle. XO

  7. That is a most wonderful tribute to The Queen.

  8. Pawsome selfies! The Union Jack bandanas are a nice way to honor the Queen.

  9. A lovely tribute to HRM Elizabeth. We want to watch her funeral, too.

What a yummy filling meal; your menu is making us drool.

  10. All looking cool in your Union Jack bandanas.
