Mew may remember last week that we mentioned we had three hedgehogs in the garden. We did mention some time ago on the blog that we hadn't had any hedgehogs in the garden since the great flood of 2013, so when a few weeks ago one appeared we were delighted, and then another appeared and another.
We can't tell mew how happy we are to have a family of three hedgehogs in the garden. Obviously, they all have names now, as mew can't be at BBHQ and not have a name.
The smallest one is called Wriggles, as he wriggles about. Then the mid-sized one is called Snuffles as he snuffles when he eats and the largest one is called Prickles, and we think that's pretty self-explanatory!
They visit every night for food and water. Sometimes they are all together and others they arrive separately.
Oh, and mew can hear our dad yawning while Wriggles is eating! MOL
There are plenty of slugs and snails in the garden, so if they want to munch on those they can. We just hope that they keep coming until they go into hibernation and that we'll see them again in the Spring, but in the meantime, we'll try to get a few more videos when they come to visit for snacks.
**Further Update** A fourth hedgehog appeared on Monday evening, the same size as Wriggles, so we need another name, what do mew think we should call this one?
Last week the P.A. decided to make some videos of our previous Halloween Crafting with Cats projects, she still making more but here's a peek at a couple.
What do mew think?
Well that's us done for today, Amber will be back on Friday with a fab Halloween book just for mew, and if mew missed Monday's Colouring with Cats we shared a supurr interesting crystal, called shungite, click the link to find out more.
And just to let mew know that we'll be sharing our 2021 Halloween Crafting with Cats on Caturday, and when mew see what we made this time, let's just say mew won't want to miss it!
