Welcome to The BBHQ Mid-Week News Round-Up **HEDGEHOG ALERT** Meet the BBHQ Hedgehogs, Amber & Pandora's Pawty is Still Raving AND What's Melvyn Done Now?

Cats Banner, The B Team, cats, cute,

Epic Wednesday Greetings Furiends

Welcome to our mid-week news round-up!

Mew may remember last week that we mentioned we had three hedgehogs in the garden. We did mention some time ago on the blog that we hadn't had any hedgehogs in the garden since the great flood of 2013, so when a few weeks ago one appeared we were delighted, and then another appeared and another.

We can't tell mew how happy we are to have a family of three hedgehogs in the garden. Obviously, they all have names now, as mew can't be at BBHQ and not have a name.

The smallest one is called Wriggles, as he wriggles about. Then the mid-sized one is called Snuffles as he snuffles when he eats and the largest one is called Prickles, and we think that's pretty self-explanatory!

They visit every night for food and water. Sometimes they are all together and others they arrive separately.

Oh, and mew can hear our dad yawning while Wriggles is eating! MOL

There are plenty of slugs and snails in the garden, so if they want to munch on those they can. We just hope that they keep coming until they go into hibernation and that we'll see them again in the Spring, but in the meantime, we'll try to get a few more videos when they come to visit for snacks.

**Further Update**  A fourth hedgehog appeared on Monday evening, the same size as Wriggles, so we need another name, what do mew think we should call this one?

Next up in the news this week is, Amber and Pandora's Halloween Pawty is still in full swing, no one can say The B Team doesn't know how to rave on! MOL

They've got a giveaway happening, so if mew haven't entered already, click the link and go join in the fun.

10 cats having a Halloween birthday party

There's plenty of food and drinks available too.

Last up this week, just look at that face, guilty much Melvyn?

guilty cat, what did the tabby do? Guilty Tabby cat

What do mew think sparked that level of guilt? MOL MOL

Answer coming on next weeks post.

Last week the P.A. decided to make some videos of our previous Halloween Crafting with Cats projects, she still making more but here's a peek at a couple.

What do mew think?

Well that's us done for today, Amber will be back on Friday with a fab Halloween book just for mew, and if mew missed Monday's Colouring with Cats we shared a supurr interesting crystal, called shungite, click the link to find out more.

And just to let mew know that we'll be sharing our 2021 Halloween Crafting with Cats on Caturday, and when mew see what we made this time, let's just say mew won't want to miss it!

  5. How lovely to have a family of hedgehogs. Before long you could have a whole village in the garden. Maybe they have come for Amber and Pandora's party.

We don't have wild hedgies 'round here in America; too bad!
One of my favourite writers included a hedgehog in her book "The Moor" and the poor wee thing helped crack the case for Sherlock Holmes.

  9. How about Diddles for the fourth lil guy, since eh seems to be iddling asround with the noms...
We have porucupines here in some northern areas, but no little prickly dudes. Maybe Stickles might be a good name, too, since those spiney things do stick!

Oh oh, Melvyn...are you in trouble??

    Your pawrty is super FAB!

  11. Hmm, I like Marv's suggestion. Biggles would be good, too. They kind of rhyme.
