We do hope mew've had a supurr Valentinesy weekend. 

 Pandora's taken over the sofa in the catservatory, she says it's the purrfect chill spot! MOL

We hope that mew're ready for the week ahead, so let's jump right in and start as always with our little breathing exercise, which we're sure mew all have down paw by now...  but if mew've forgotten, stop what mew're doing for a moment and take deep fulfilling breaths; counting to five on the inhale and five on the exhale:

And here's the P.A.'s finished colouring. She said she left some of it uncoloured because she really liked the patchwork effect. Not that she was being lazy and couldn't be bothered to finish it - The Kitty Jury is still deliberating on that! MOL

This weeks effect was created with Prisma IOS App: Sailor + colour changes to hue and saturation.

Anyhoo it's time for us to go on kitty patrol around the garden as it's quite nice today, and then we're helping the P.A. make an Easter bonnet for Nanny, so we'll show mew what did on a new crafting post really soon. These 3 are so funny, Fudge was waiting for his turn to go out as Parsley came in and finally Melvyn could go out when Fudge came back in!  These dudes love to queue, did mew see their post on Thursday, they've got this queuing and social distancing malarky down to a fine art! MOL

Today we decided to switch things up and use our Prisma app on the iPhone for our arty-farty effect.

 This one is called - Gothic

Hello gorgeous library guests and welcome to my private library

Oh thank mew all so much for all the comments mew left on last weeks commentathon for the OZ bush fires, thanks to mew we raised £28, so we're adding another £2 to reach our £30 goal to send to Animals Australia.  And looking at today's exchange rate that wurks out at $57.44 AUD, so we'll round up and send $60 AUD.

I'll get Parsley to send the money early next week - as he is in charge of all the BBHQ finances, so thank mew all once again for helping, we couldn't have done it without mew.

And we've got another fund-raiser planned for next week for The RSPCA in Victoria, OZ.  So do stay tuned for that.

And quickly before I get to this weeks book, I have to tell mew that yesterday I actually went outside, yes I did... I had a little garden safari for at least 3.04 minutes and then I spent the rest of my day snoozing in front of the fire! MOL

This week I thought I'd share something a little bit different, and this book is great if mew're a bit arty-farty, or mew're thinking mew'd like to be a bit more arty-farty. 

While not a very big book, it shows mew step by step how to draw cute kitty characters, and discusses different drawing methods and mediums too, so in essence its an all-in-one to learn how to draw simplistic characters in a variety of poses.

From absolute beginners to more seasoned artists, this would be a really useful addition to your art resource shelf.  As once mew've mastered the basics, mew can hone your skills even further by adding more detail to your drawings.

I'd recommend this to any budding artist or crafter who wants to draw their own characters for projects.  Or if mew love doodling, this opens a whole new world of doodles! MOL
