And finally, the second heatwave has passed, and it's a little cooler at BBHQ, although we still haven't had any rain. The Met Office has said there could be thunderstorms and bucket loads of rain, but so far none of these have appeared yet, although we are only on Chewsday, so there's still time. Just as long as the rain comes in a nice gentle pitter patter all will be well! MOL

Pandora's New Daybed
Mew may remember that this was Amber's orange pom pom daybed from 2017. Anyhoo Amber decided she didn't want it anymore and gave it to Pandora, who promptly said, "I don't do orange!"
Check out her cute TikTok video here to see her taking it easy and relaxing!

Smooch is Nesting
Mew may remember back in July when we revealed who The Phantom Plant Squasher was?
If mew saw Monday's Gardening with Cats post, and the area of the garden we're working on at the moment, once the new raised beds are finished, the two pots with the grass nests are being transplanted.
Don't worry, we've got lots of baby grasses growing to add to the pots again, so they won't be short of any cat nests, they'll just have more.
Finally this week
Melvyn Wears The Next Top Pick Bandana
Last week, Melvyn wore the yellow Funky Cat bandana, this week he's wearing the number two pick which was a tie between the Space and the Stars designs. So today he chose to model the Space design furst.
Check out his latest catwalk show on TikTok, he's comin' in hot! MOL
Just be grateful that it was only mud that Smooch was rolling in. Eric had an obsession with sticky black pheasant poop!
Oh, nice NOT!
The P.A. used to have a Jack Russell called Daisy who was quite partial to rolling in fox poop given the chance - EWWWWWWW - so we feel your pain at the clean stage!
I didn't know you were so responsive to questions. Next time I have one, I WILL meow it.
Sadly we don't have the time at the moment to reply to all our blog comments like we used to, so we figured this was the next best way to interact with our epically epic furiends and readers.
That's us done for today, we will be back on Friday with some more fluffers, and if mew missed Monday's post click here to catch up on our latest Gardening with Cats and see how we made a cute fairy garden.
Epic purrs
Pandora's new daybed is epic! Your P.A. is so talented!
ReplyDeleteSmooch, YOU'RE also a phantom plant squasher? Who knew? :-D
Melvyn, we think you look good in ANY bandana. SO handsome!
The day bed makeover is lovely, and Pandora looks as happy as Larry in it. I wonder who Larry was! We have cooled down to normal summer temperatures now with a high of 20. Thunderstorms were forecast for the first three days this week but never materialised. Yesterday was heavy rain which caused a lot of flooding.
ReplyDeleteThank you for responding to my question: I have friends on the Isle of Wight, but didn't get a chance to visit them when I was in London a few years ago. Next trip to the UK will have to be 2-3 weeks long, so I can hit all of the places I want to, including Wales, Scotland, The Lake District, and every art museum in London...just to name a few. There are at least two railroad stations with attendant cats too; those are a MUST SEE.
ReplyDeleteI love the daybed. It's in my favorite colors too.
ReplyDeleteHave a purrfect day. Scritches all around and my best to your wonderful mom. ♥
The daybed looks very nice! Melvyn looks spiffy in the bandana. And cute pictures of Pandora and Smooch!
ReplyDeleteYou all look fabulous and that new bed looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteWow, that daybed looks so regal, and Pandora is basking there like she is the Queen herself!
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
ReplyDeleteHave a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Scritches to the kitties and a hug to mom. ♥
OOOH...Smooch is adorable!!!
