The BBHQ Midweek News Round-Up ~ Pandora and Miss Flumpit's Standoff, Fudge In The Basket, Meanwhile Fudge Was Nesting, and Melvyn's Wearing This Weeks Top Pick Bandana

Basil and The B Team feature in their Midweek New Banner for blog posts on www.bionicbasil.com, presenting a stylish cat crew with bold graphics and engaging design. The banner showcases vibrant colors, feline personalities, and a modern aesthetic, ideal for pet bloggers, cat lovers, and fans of The B Team's weekly updates. Perfect for boosting visibility in feline-focused content and pet-related searches.

Furbulous Greetings Supurr Furiends

Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!

Oodles of greetings from BBHQ, and oh my cod, what a busy week we've had. Firstly, let's do the weather report; it has been a mix of sunny days, breezy breezes and still nights. So rather pleasant, one would say, and we're not complaining at all.

The moon was on the missing list again, and when it did appear, it was too low in the sky and four hours behind its usual placement. We think there's seriously something off at the moonbase, as we said before, staffing issues or a virus aka MOON-VID... We'll keep mew updated on its placement if we see it again this coming week.

And many, many apologies for missing the blog hops again. Grandpaw is unwell, Nanny is stressed and had an allergic reaction to her medication, and lots of fluffed-up stuff is happening in the background. We'll try to do better this week...

Remember the Four-Leaf Clover Kit from the other week?

Grow Your Own Four-Leaf Clover Kit featuring a hexagonal box with vibrant clover illustrations and the text 'Grow Your Own Good Luck!' The kit includes clover seeds and a peat pellet, displayed on a plate, with detailed instructions on the back of the box. A perfect gift for gardening enthusiasts, lucky charm seekers, and those interested in growing their own clovers. Featured on www.bionicbasil.com

Well, the P.A. finally managed to plant the seeds, and we have proof! MOL

Close-up of rich, dark soil in a pot with scattered four-leaf clover seeds, ready for planting. The small, round seeds display orange and yellow hues, marking the initial stage of growing lucky clovers. This image is ideal for gardening enthusiasts, plant lovers, and those interested in cultivating their own four-leaf clovers for good fortune. Featured on www.bionicbasil.com

Look at those little kernals of life, all ready to get snuggled under a little blanket of compost and watered well.

We're not sure if they're going to germinate, being so old, but we'll let you know in a week or two, if there's any life left in them! MOL

>^.^<

Last week, we got this question from one of our epic blogging pals, and we love questions. So if mew ever want to ask anything, feel free!

#1 is asking if you remember Michael Fish?

Yes, the P.A. remembers him and the fateful weather forecast way back in 1987! What a cluster fluff that was.

Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.

Pandora and Miss Flumpit's Standoff

Miss Flumpit, a fluffy cat, sits atop a black wooden fence, locked in a tense standoff with Pandora, another fluffy feline standing below on wooden planks. The lush green garden and rustic brick wall in the background add depth to the dramatic scene. This captivating moment of feline rivalry is perfect for pet lovers, cat behavior enthusiasts, and animal photography fans. Featured on www.bionicbasil.com

At precisely 7.11 am the other morning, this was happening in the garden!

We'll report more as we get new intel, but needless to Miss Flumpit had to use another route home.

Smooch Has Abandoned His Vacuumed Basket

Smooch, the tripawed cat, lies on a patterned brown doormat, facing away from the camera with an unmistakable air of displeasure. His white fur with black patches contrasts against the textured mat, while his freshly cleaned basket—just in shot—sits nearby, no longer feeling quite right to him. The rustic brick wall and pebbled ground add depth to the scene, capturing a moment of feline frustration. Perfect for pet lovers, cat behavior enthusiasts, and feline photography fans. Featured on www.bionicbasil.com

Last week, mew may remember that Smooch's basket under the gazebo had a clean. Well, turns out, he's not loving it, and has taken to using the doormat instead.

He's even asked if the P.A. can put some dried leaves and other stuff back into it, because it doesn't feel right anymore! MOL

The BBHQ Midweek News Round-Up ~ What Did Smooch Think To His Basket Getting Vacuumed? Why Was Melvyn Was Sulking? Amber knows, Meanwhile Fudge Was Nesting, and Melvyn's Wearing This Weeks Top Pick Bandana

Well, it's been another mixed bag of weather again at BBHQ this week; in fact, we've had more gusty, blustery weather in the last two weeks than we've had all winter.

It's been a little bit overcast and cooler. However, the mainstream news headlines are threatening with a 'monstrous heatwave' over the next few days, good gravy, why do they have to sensationalise the weather all the time, like it's some evil omen? I can't catch my breath at the absurdity of it all.

Seriously, back in the day, the weather maps in the UK were green, and the weather person on the TV would place little stickers of clouds, sun, rain, wind, etc, and slap them on the map in the appropriate places.

Now, all the maps are a violent, threatening, life-ending shade of RED if the temperature gets above 22 degrees Celsius, like what the fluff?!

GET GRIP PEEPS!

Anyhoo, enough of that weather stuff, just look at what sprung up on the lawn at BBHQ last week.

We've got our very own Fairy Ring!

Aerial view of a fairy ring on the BBHQ lawn, featuring a circular patch of yellow flowers surrounded by lush green grass. This natural phenomenon creates a striking contrast, adding an enchanting touch to the landscape. Perfect for gardening enthusiasts, folklore lovers, and nature photography fans. Featured on www.bionicbasil.com

At this very moment, as we're typing, Cat Dad is out there with the mower, the P.A. did give him STRICT instructions not to decimate it - we'll let mew how that went next week! MOL

 This Is NOT Parsley

A sleek black cat with striking yellow eyes lounges on a weathered wooden bench against a rustic brick wall at BBHQ. The cat, not Parsley, exudes a relaxed yet watchful presence, adding charm to the serene outdoor setting. The aged texture of the bench and warm tones of the brick wall enhance the cozy atmosphere. Perfect for pet lovers, feline photography enthusiasts, and cat-themed blogs. Featured on www.bionicbasil.com

Nope, this is not Parsley; this is Morty, who lives across the road, actually next door to Miss Fumpit. Honestly, anypawdy would think that BBHQ is a casual drop-in centre for all the Mewton-Clawson cats! MOL

And while we don't mind visitors at all, we do mind that somepawdy has decimated one of the catnip plants that was purposefully hidden in the vegetable garden away from the casual drop-ins... we're going to have to put it in a cage!

More Meautiful Roses Blooming At BBHQ

A collage of four vibrant roses blooming at BBHQ. The top left image features a deep red rose with lush petals. The top right image showcases a cluster of pristine white roses. The bottom left image displays a bright yellow rose in full bloom. The bottom right image presents a group of pink roses with intricate petal formations. Each rose is surrounded by green foliage, highlighting the beauty and diversity of the blooms at BBHQ. Copyright www.bionicbasil.com.

Every week, more and more of the roses bloom. Just look at this selection, just gorgeous!

The white ones, well, we have a confession to make. This is one of two stardard types, that were planted over twenty years ago, but sadly at the end of last year, they were looking a bit worse for wear, so the P.A. said to Cat Dat, "get the big loppers and butcher them, then in the Spring we'll take them out and plant new ones."

Well, mew could have dipped us in double cream, then rolled us in catnip, as we couldn't have been any more surprised when the dead-looking, severely scalped rose tree skeletons started sprouting new growth and, OH MY COD, have grown so much and are flowering like never before.

Seriously, the P.A. thought they were done for and going on the bonfire, but no, so the moral of the story is, if mew butcher your roses in winter, leave them in the ground, don't pull them up, and maybe they might sprut again the following Spring.

Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.

First up in the news this week

What Did Smooch Think To His Basket Getting Vacuumed?

Smooch the tripawed cat, a white feline with black patches, sits comfortably in a newly vacuumed wicker basket lined with a red and white blanket. Smooch's basket under the gazebo was vacuumed the other day, and he didn't like it. He wanted to know where his spider pals had gone! MOL

Why Was Melvyn Was Sulking?

Melvyn the tabby cat sulks on the sofa, curled up on a cozy gray blanket. The soft textures and muted tones enhance the comforting atmosphere, making this a perfect image for pet lovers, feline photography enthusiasts, and cat-themed blogs. Featured on www.bionicbasil.com

Yep, Melvyn was sulking... Amber will tell mew why.

Amber Snoozing On Her Favourite Blanket

Amber, a white and orange cat, peacefully snoozes on her favorite soft grey blanket. The textured, fluffy blanket enhances the comforting atmosphere, making this a perfect image for pet lovers, cat-themed blogs, and cozy home aesthetics. Featured on www.bionicbasil.com

Mew see this is Amber's favourite blanket, and Melvyn has taken a shine to it in recent weeks.

Amber is NOT pleased.

She has banned him from said blanket, but he has been sneaking on it when she's been snoozing in the catservatory.

Anyhoo, she's now told him that if he gets on it one more time, she's docking his pay at the library!

The BBHQ Midweek News Round-Up ~ Smooch, Melvyn & Fudge Making A Request, Pandora's On The Fence, Parsley Got Wet, and Melvyn's Wearing This Weeks Top Pick Bandana

Furbulous Greetings Supurr Furiends

Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!

Happy Wednesday from BBHQ! Well, the weather has been a mix of rain, wind and sun, so not too bad, as we need the rain, though the wind has been a bit too fur ruffling for our liking but that said, it's somethimes nice to get that cool breeze especially when it's been a bit humid, which it has.

On Sunday, the P.A. and Cat Dad went to the cinema to watch the final Mission Impossible movie, and what a total disaster that was. Twenty minutes in, they left, as the soundtrack was so unbearably and obnoxiously loud that it was literally a mission impossible to tolerate it! MOL

They were both pretty hissed off,  but after going to the ticket desk to explain, they got two free tickets to visit another time. Have mew ever experienced a movie at the cinema where it was too loud?

Anyhoo, the other day, when in the potting shed, the P.A. found this box of Grow Your Own Four Leaf Clover. Now, this is decades old, dating back well over 20 years, so she decided that she should try to grow the seed.

Here's what came in the box, so we'll keep mew posted on the germination, or not, as the case may be.

Years ago, at Nanny's and Grampaw's house, there used to be a small stone trough near the front door, and that used to be full of four-leaf clovers. The P.A. picked no end and laminated them, and she still has them today.

And below is one of our favourite roses, in full bloom.

A stunning pink rose in full bloom, set against a backdrop of lush green leaves and a rustic brick wall. The delicate petals showcase intricate layers, creating a visually captivating floral display. This vibrant garden flower embodies natural beauty and seasonal charm, making it perfect for botanical enthusiasts, gardening blogs, and floral photography inspiration. Featured on www.bionicbasil.com.

This one sits by the back door, so it's lovely to see every time mew walk in and out of the house.

The potted box tree on the other side of the back door has sadly died, (it was 18 years old), so we need to replace that in the coming weeks, and the box hedging on the patio near the gazebo has a massive caterpillar infestation and is looking a little worse for wear right now. So the P.A. has bought a product that has something called nematodes in it, which are bird and bee friendly and will help with the caterpillars' ravenous appetites. So we'll let mew know how that goes...

Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.

Yesterday at about 8:30 am, this was the queue at the patio door. Yep, the request was put in, but by the look on these three faces, the response was not fast enough!

The P.A. had just been to feed the tadpoles, and obviously, without snoopervision, another crime committed in the eyes of the waiting trio! MOL
