My Purrfect Gift Box 

sent us this fab box of goodies a few weeks ago and as we've been a little busy we've only just got around to opening it.  Parsley was a propurr little heathen and couldn't wait to open it.  

Parsley was on the front row ofur-seeing all the proceedings and getting his mittens on the candy striped bag.  "This ones all mine!" he said.

So what's in the box:

1. Wax paw melts - divine aroma

2. Cat shaped teas bags fur peeps 

3. Catnip tea bag fur cats

4. Catnip sweet toys fur cats

5. Delicious cookie #1 fur peeps

6. Delicious cookie #2 fur peeps

7.  Cute kitty tea bag holder fur peeps

8. Uber cute kitty mug fur peeps

Guys we can say this box of goodies was totally purrfect.  The P.A. had a lovely mug of tea, the tea bag suspended from the uber cute kitty tea bag holder and she ate both of the cookies while the paw melt diffused a divine aroma from the burner, she was so chilled out as we got our mittens on the toys and had a great time.  What truly delightful afternoon!

Welcome to another edition of

Today we have one of our sponsored posts to share with mew.  The pawesomely wunderpurr peeps from the company:

 

My Purrfect Gift Box 

sent us another box of goodies [mew can see the furst box here] to try just before the P.A. left fur OZ, mew can imagine our sheer delight at this lovely surprise!

The P.A. was thrilled at the contents and she had every reason to be as it was full of goodies, mainly fur her!!!!

This is what we discovered

In the box:

1.  A totally gorgeous pink purse covered in kitties

2.  A fabulous spotty pet blanky

3.  Chocolate... [The P.A. said, "Mmmmmm, that'll do nicely!"]

4.  A gorgeous handmade silk kitty collar

5.   Four supurr cute kitty buttons - which will be sewn onto a waistcoat furry soon 

6.  A bag of yummy cat treats

7.  A totally terrific cat print scarf

8.  A beautiful antique style cat pendant

As this box was more fur the P.A. and sadly she ran out of time to take more photo's before she left the U.K. there aren't many pictures of us - shame on her!!! MOL

Here's Amber Modelling the beautiful silk collar, which she said and I quote, "Basil this is the softest collar effur, and no I'm not sharing!"

Then she added, "Don't mew think the purple looks fabulous against my orangeness?"

To be honest, I had no answer fur that! 

The P.A. modelling the fabulous scarf - which is just amazing with bronze coloured foil cats printed on a soft dove grey cotton and as the P.A. is a 'scarf purrson' this went down a treat.

and modelling the supurr cute kitty hand-made floral pendant - it's too cute fur wurds!

The kitty buttons are just delightful and the P.A. has plans to revamp a waistcoat with those upon her return to the U.K. and we'll be sharing that with mew on our new monthly feature, Crafting with Cats [more about that another day though].

We would have loved to have shared more photo's of the divine chocolate bar but sadly that disappeared rather quickly! MOL [nuff said!!]

The purse is just gorgeous and as the P.A. loves pink, all we can say is that it was purrfect fur her.

This box was just amazing and the P.A. was overjoyed at all the goodies, and as fur the cat treats, we'll be getting our mittens on those when she gets home and then we've got a big decision on:- Who gets the new blanky?

My Purrfect Gift Box 

contacted us about 3 weeks ago to see if we would like a box of cat goodies, how could we possibly say no to that?

They furry promptly dispatched us this...

And a couple of days later, a delightful purple box arrived on the doorstep. 

Well mew can imagine our extreme exhilaration at seeing said box and wundering what treasures it held.  Sadly the P.A. had the flu and the box was put away - mew can imagine our utter horror and outrage at such a heinous act - but she said, "As soon as I'm better we'll open it, ok?"

Well obviously we had to concede defeat temporarily as the box went into a cupboard fur the next few days.

Anyhoo, on Bank Holiday Monday the P.A. said, "It's time to open the box!"  Yet as it was a nice day I was having a little fun down the field, Smoochie was in the garden with Snowie, and Humphrey was being pampered at Uncle John's next door, so that just left Parsley and Amber in the house with the full box of goodies.

Parsley was most eager to investigate the box and got stuck right in.

"Amber mew really need to see all these pawesome goodies!" he said excitedly.

"Parsley mew know I can't jump on the breakfast bar," she replied huffily. "Tell me what mew see, tell me, tell me, tell me!"

Parsley chuckled as the layers were peeled back and the contents revealed.

"Effurypurrdy else will be so annoyed they missed this," he said. "But that means all the more fur mew and me!"

"So what's in the box?" Amber demanded from floor level as Parsley purrused the array of gifts.

"Well," Parsley began as the P.A. carefully removed the items placing them on the breakfast bar. "I can see something with a feather on and I can smell catnip....mmmmmmmm.... deeeeeeeeelicious!"

His attention was somewhat diverted and rather impaired by the fragrant notes of catnip taking offur his senses, so we'll take this brief interlude to list the contents.

In the box:

1. 4 x Seed Papers [we'll explain more below]

2. A bag of Green & Wilds treats [one of our favourite brands]

3. A beautiful umbrella [fur the P.A.]

4. A gorgeous framed kitty picture

5. A fun catnip fish toy

6. A fabulous feather fishing wand

7. A pack of kitty note cards

8.  A supurr cute kitty temporary tattoo

Let the games begin...

"Open it, open it, open it!" Parsley said impatiently as the P.A. began to remove the wrapping, far too slowly fur his liking from the turquoise toy.

Parsley couldn't wait to murder whoops sorry, play with the catnip fishy as he unsheathed his pantherene claws! [see bottom left]

Amber then took offur to finish it off! MOL

[Addendum: It was still in one piece aftur the grueling session and has subsequently been murdered, sorry played with on a daily basis]

She promptly jumped right in on the action with the feather fishing wand, much to Parsley's chagrin who then proceeded to sulk terribly because he wasn't furst in line!



"Hooman, I will resist, mew will not break my resolve!" Parsley declared boldly as the wand fluttered back and forth several times, and he did an admiral job of showing total indifference and aloofness. [Kudo's fur lasting out that long! MOL]



Seconds later he muttered, "Damn mew hooman with your wily and devious ways.... I can't resist any longer!"

We were furry excited about the cat shaped seed infused papers and insisted that the P.A. plant them immediately.  Luckily she had a bag of compost under the garden-port and some spare plant pots, so within 5 minutes four pots were planted, watered then placed in a sunny windowsill [as directed] and we can't wait to see what grows.

Update on the seeds: after 10 days of careful nurturing, 3 out of the four seed papers are growing - WOO HOO - we'll update mew further and let mew know what fab flowers they turn into!

The P.A. was delighted with the new umbrella and it has become a purrmanent fixture in her handbag and she has already had few a lovely compliments when out in the rain.

The framed kitty picture has been placed in the lounge, but as far we know the temporary tattoo has not been applied yet, well not that we've seen! MOL And the kitty cards will come in furry handy too.

The Green & Wilds treats are truly excellent as mew know from a past post featuring these tasty treats, and effurypurrdy got to sample the deliciousness.

As the days have been a little brighter, a little longer yet still moderately frigid, mew know we've been spending more time outside offur-seeing the great garden clean-up after the winter.

There's always a multitude of jobs to be done in the green-zone and this week we got the P.A. to cut all the dead foliage back on the catmint plants that reside in the mill-wheels.   Amber who is like a face-hugging cling-on as far as the P.A. is concerned, was furst to investigate the freshly trimmed plants and was thoroughly delighted to happen upon some fresh, young and rather tantalizing shoots... need I say more! MOL

Apart from thank goodness Spring is winging this way... 

In other news... our Spring bulbs are slowly emerging, but we wunder as to their reluctance to fully bloom yet... does this bode fur bad weather in the near future? 

What's your opinion....  

Also we thought Amber was looking a little chubby - see bottom right picture - she says it's all fluff and how she was sitting, we're not so sure, what do mew think?  

Is she a little chub-bub porker or is it just fluff and bad posture? [MOL MOL MOL]

Thoughtless on Thursday with Amber

Pawesome greetings wunderpurr furriends

Amber would really like to go inside, howeffur someone is being furry, furry thoughtless and ignoring her request.... hmmmmmm I wunder who that is???? MOL Mentioning no names - Smoochie!

It's been a little fresh again this week, although the days have been sunny, which has made a huge difference to the normally grey and oppressive skies that are usually in abundance this time of year.

All we can say is, Spring can't get here fast enough and it's being thoroughly thoughtless by taking too long!!

We hope mew all have a sunny spot, or puddle to snooze in today and we'll catch mew on The Pet Parade on the morrow.
