We've had quite clement weather the last few days in Mewton-Clawson, although it has got a little nippy after dark. Plus we've had a little bit of rain, as February Fill Dyke didn't happen this year, and if mew haven't heard of that term before, though we know Eric and Flynn's mum will definitely of heard of it. It means that usually, the month of February is wet, whether that be from melting snow or seasonal rain and said water fills all the dykes and ditches. Though this year so far, it hasn't been as wet as normal, and yes the climate change fluffers are already jumping on the drought bandwagon, ready to roll it out to a house near mew in the near future.
And in other Springy news, guess who we saw at 10.27 and 15 seconds on the security camera on Caturday evening? One of the hedgehogs, now we're not sure which one it is, and the P.A. went outside immediately to put some food and water under the garden port. We aren't sure how long this one has been awake or coming into the garden searching for food. But we do hope he or she will amble back just to check again for snacks. So we'll keep mew posted on that. As last summer, sadly they weren't around that much, we think they went off exploring the local vicinity and looking for love. But it would be lovely if the little tribe came back.
Mew can see the video's on our YouTube channel, there were six in total starting from September to November 2021.
The Hedgehog Update Meet Scooter
The Hedgehog Update Part 4 ~ A Little Nighttime Garden Safari at BBHQ
The Hedgehog Update Part 5 ~ Scooter Goes Offroading & Wriggles Has Seconds
The Hedgehog Update Pat 6 ~ Scooter Bites the P.A.'s Slipper & Wriggles Doesn't Like Nikes
If they keep coming back, hopefully we'll get more videos posted.
First up in the news this week
We Are Growing Carnivorous Catticus Smooch's
This is a brand new genus of plant, in fact, it's so tremendously rare there's only one in the entire world at the moment, and that's at BBHQ! MOL
Now at this point, we're not sure if it will multiply or self-seed, but we are watching it very closely to see what it does next. We do know that this furry, meat-eating plant likes tuna, it likes it a lot, and we're going to try salmon next. However, we are being extra careful as we don't want to end up as its next snack!

Next up in the news
Pandora's Got Her Glow On
Pandora is notoriously difficult to take a photo of, as:
A. She's camera shy
B. She's so fast and runs around a lot
C. Her dark colouring is purrfect camouflage around the house, especially when she's in the scratch post condos
So we were quite astounded when she sat on the bar table in the catservatory the other day and posed most elegantly for this photo.
Doesn't she look purrty?
Finally this week
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
This was last week's top pick, the lovely Baa-Tastic bandana as voted for by mew, our wonderpurr furiends, and doesn't it look epic?
Melvyn picked three different mewsic tracks to walk down the catwalk this week, which one do mew like the best?
Which one should he model next?
The options from the top left in a clockwise direction:
1. Baaa-Tastic
2. Funny Bunnies
3. Lucky Clover
4. Psychedelic Kitties
We've only got one bandana left from this selection, the Funny Bunnies, but never fear we have a brand new selection for mew next week to choose from, and if the P.A. gets time she'll make some extra special Easter-themed bandanas.
EXTRA, EXTRA!
That's us done for today, we will be back on Friday with another fab book just for mew and if mew missed any other posts, here are the links:
In the meantime...
