And welcome to another fab week on the blog
Today we're sharing one of our *sponsored posts with mew from the fabulous peeps at..
... who contacted us a few of weeks ago and asked if we'd like to try their robotic interactive toys.
OMC, of course we would!

This is what HEXBUG has to say about their toys:
HEXBUG, a leader in robotic toys, has the perfect items to keep your cat on their toes with some highly interactive and engaging cat toys. We are sure to keep your pet busy for hours chasing, clawing and capturing with these three exciting HEXBUG products!
- HEXBUG nano Robotic Cat Toy
The HEXBUG nano Robotic Cat Toy can navigate around objects, find its way out of corners and flip over from its back to its feet in an attempt to escape its captor!
We got one of these to try
- HEXBUG Mouse Robotic Cat Toy
Have you seen the HEXBUG Mouse Robotic Cat Toy yet? This furry feline friend is equipped with cute, playful pink ears and whiskers. When turned on, its soft rubber tail wiggles back and forth as it scampers and scurries along, calling the attention of nearby cats.
And we got one of these too.
- HEXBUG Remote Control Mouse Cat Toy
Similar, but slightly techier is the HEXBUG Remote Control Mouse! This interactive smart toy comes with a remote control so that you can make it start, pause and stop on command. When turned on, the mouse’s soft rubber tail wiggles back and forth as it scampers and scurries along, calling the attention of nearby cats, just like a real mouse. [We didn't get to try this one]
Now we must admit before we begin we did have a little pre-play time with the toys, to get the feel of things and to see who was interested in them, and sadly the Nano got stuck under the fridge, but prior to that Melvyn was loving it, and until Dad gets home tonight, Nano will have to stay there ~ OOPS! MOL
Anyhoo, the Nano was furry funny, it does exactly what it said on the packaging - see above - and Melvyn was transfixed following it all around the kitchen, and the P.A. was laughing so much she didn't see it take a sneaky and rather evasive detour under the fridge until it was too late.
But then Melvyn got to chase the mouse all around the kitchen, so all was not lost and he loved that as much as the Nano. We'll share some of the funny videos of The B Team playing with HEXBUG toys this week on our instagram account, so if mew want to see cheeky Melvyn pop to instagram and follow us, so mew don't miss anything.

These toys do not wurk on carpet or rugs, mew do need a hard floor. We also found that mew need to keep an eye on them as they can get stuck under things - NOTE TO SELF: Don't let Nano get near the fridge once it is released.
But that aside, these little toys are really fun and add a whole new dimension and feel to playtime, which we think is epic fur feline enrichment, especially those kitty's that are primarily indoor cats, as we do get bored with things and we do need our senses stimulating.
**A BBHQ TOP TIP FUR PLAYTIME**
We rotate toys our weekly so it keeps things fresh and exciting.
Try rotating your toys on a weekly basis, and see how much more fun mew have!
In summary, we think that these would make a fun addition to any cats toy box, as long as mew have a hard floors.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday. ♥
That sure has some fun potential, I wonder what Simon would do with one of those. Oh never mind, I think I know!
ReplyDeleteLooks like lots of fun! Poor Nano - MOL! I think fridges are toy magnets.
ReplyDeleteOh my stars, we got a hex bug years ago and Mommy hasn't taken it out in ages! Now I'm going to yell at her because I just LOVE that toy! Thanks for the review.
ReplyDeleteWe have regular Hex bugs and set them up on a track we found at a yard same. (If they aren't contained they quickly disappear). https://aboutthecats.blogspot.com/2015/07/thrifty-thursday-christmas-in-july.html
ReplyDeleteI hate to say it but I bet I would get indigestion, or destroyed or both, MOL

These Hexbug toys look like a lot of fun! I've seen them in the store before and been tempted to give them a try. Perhaps I will have to pick one up next time. Manna and Dexter would love chasing them around.

Thanks for joining us this week at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2019/05/international-delights.html
ReplyDeleteThose toys sound like a lot of fun and the next best thing to a real mouse.
ReplyDeleteThat's if you are a cat! After so many years I still think of things from Eric and Flynn's perspective!
Oh my COD these look totally epic!! What a fun (and giggle worthy) review. I hope you got the Nano out by now!!!
ReplyDeleteTo bad that most of our den is carpeted..
ReplyDeleteYou have found a most pawsome form of catertainment! Too bad it had to go and hde under the fridge, MOL!
We have plank floors, which makes it hard for hexibugs!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the toys review! Manny would be nutso over a toy that moves on it's own, while CB would sit there and watch from afar. Guess he's tired of his brofur jumping on his head!
ReplyDeleteOh My Cod friends we LOVE our Hexbug. We loved it to death as a matter of fact. Rumpy seems to like Whacking it with all his might. Over and Over and Over and... Yeah its deaded
ReplyDeleteThat meowed you reminded us to Bug (Hee Hee) Dad for a new one or three
