Pawesome Friday Greetings Furriends
Welcome to the Pet Parade and our weekly news round up!
Our headline this week is sunbathing; not only was Parsley engaging in this rather relaxing past-time the other day, dad even decided to take a bit of time-out and have a quick catnap in the sunshine!
Don't forget your sunscream - factor 50+ is good, and if mew're like the moonbeam P.A. use at least a factor 357+ and do stay out of the hot sun between 11am and 3pm.
In other news... The Bear Hunt at BBHQ is still happening; we've been putting many different teddy bears and soft toys in our only roadside window since the 26th March. Here's Melvyn, Fudge and Fluff the Bunny hanging out together and checking out what's going off in Mewton-Clawson's main street - not furry much.
There have been about 15 different soft toys featured so far including a frog, two bunnies on separate days, a lamb, and lots of bears and at the moment there are two owls, a duck and the catnip gingerbread purrsons to entertain the walkers should they decide to look up as they pass our house.
We have quite a few to go at as the P.A. has collected many [many, many, many] soft toys her entire life, and she still has her furry furst teddy from when she was born. She collected no-end of the Forever Friends bunnies and bears, also whenever she travelled anywhere abroad she'd always buy a new teddy or soft toy. She's always loved the Jellycat range too, in fact, she's got her eye on this supurr cute owly right now, she says after the lockdown has finished she may invite Orlando to join the crew! MOL
And finally this week, great news in the garden; last summer the P.A. was given some wild garlic in a small pot, howeffur it seemed to die so she emptied the soil out and thought nothing more about it but then a few weeks ago little green shoots sprang up in the exact spot of the soil, so she was lucky enough to be able to transplant 13 individual plants, and some more have since appeared.
Who loves garlic, we do! We also planted some regular garlic a few days ago too, so we'll keep mew posted on what happens with that. Some of the carrot seedlings have appeared this week, and a lot of the sweet peas are up too, so there's lot's to be potted on, it's a good job we like gardening! MOL
And don't forget that it's Earth Day too, so tune in to Earth Day digital if mew have time.
If mew missed anything offur the last week, here's the latest posts fur your purrusal:
I'll be here tomorrow with some more Brain Training and the answer to last times sudoku puzzle so do stop by to join me if mew get chance, and let's help keep your little grey cells in tip-top condition!
Until then...

Looking good in the sun Parsley! Bear hunts are fun, we had one hear a week or so ago and the kiddos enjoyed!
ReplyDeleteHow cool that you could enjoy some sun in the garden ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteThe weather here is lovely too and although I don't lay in the sun (I inherited my gran's Irish easy burn skin) it was lovely to lay in the shade of the hedge.
ReplyDeleteMelvyn and Fudge are very interested in what is going on outside.
We're enjoying nicer weather here too. Nothing like getting outside to enjoy the sun-puddles.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. My best to your wonderful mom. ♥
Wild garlic, huh? Sounds like fun! I have a whole bunch of wild ginger.
ReplyDeleteHappy Earth Day!
Cute pic with the bear and hope the kiddies love it!
ReplyDeleteFun in the sun is a very good thing now days. Have fun
ReplyDeleteParsley is a cutie. Thanks for hosting the Pet Parade. XO
ReplyDeleteWe're in a bit of a dreary weather pattern, but we are glad mew guys got some sun to enjoy! :)
ReplyDeleteWe love that you are participating with such variety in the bear hunt. XO
With temps in the mid twenties and low thirties F at night, we can't even think about outside gardening yet...and under our lockdown rules, we cannot even go to a garden center to get supplies or plants. Sheesh. And other badder words:)
ReplyDeleteThose garlic plants look yummy already to petcretary. We have a lot of garlic chives, (and wild chives, too), they both self seed, and the birds move seeds around, so its all over the place!
