Supurr Monday greetings beautiful furiends
Are Mew Feeling Stressed?
If like us mew are in a strict lockdown scenario again, why not try to do some colouring to help with the covid-imposed-cabin-fever? This week we've designed a supurr simple mandala which mew could colour all in one go, or mew do a few minutes each day and see what different colours mew're attracted to as the week progresses, or mew could always print off more than one and do lots of different colour schemes. It's entirely up to mew, and even if mew don't finish it, that's ok too.
There are no rules when it comes to colouring; use clashing tones, try combinations mew wouldn't normally put together, use colours that appeal to mew at that moment, then purrhaps mew could look up the colours online and learn the deeper meanings.
We all need to look after our mental health. This yo-yo lockdown situation is hard to deal with so change your focus by distracting your mind with colouring mandalas. We're not saying it's a cure-all for cabin-fever what we are saying is; it could help while a few hours away, and mew neffur know mew might really enjoy it.
When we're colouring, we tend to zone-out completely and find it really relaxing. In fact, we've noticed that even if we're listening to say an audiobook after a while, we're not actually listening to it at all if that makes sense.
Mood Lifting Top Tip
Also, try to be mindful of the colours mew are wearing, as brighter colours really help lift a low mood. Even if it's just a scarf, a pair of socks or even jewellery, a splash of colour makes a difference.
Anyhoo, we do hope mew've all have a totally pawesome weekend, and that mew're ready fur the week ahead, so let's jump right in and start as always with our little breathing exercise, which we're sure mew all have down paw by now... but if mew've furgotten, stop what mew're doing fur a moment and take deep fulfilling breaths; counting to five on the inhale and five on the exhale:
Breathe in
Breathe out
Breathe in
Breathe out
Breathe in
Breathe out
Smooch is here again to offur mew assistance in getting your OM's on and Zen Harmonies happening, so just press play, close your eyes and follow his instructions.
Don't mew feel better already? I know we do!

And here's our finished version... this week we started with oranges and pinks, then added all shades of teal and aqua for a real pop of colour.
Coloured on the iPad and then transformed in the Prisma ios app. This time we chose the effect - Balloon.
Don't furget mew can download** our free Colouring with Cats here:- Books One, Two, Three, and Four is our latest addition.
So on that note, we'll say bye fur now and hope to see mew on Wednesday when we're back with The Pet Parade blog hop and our weekly news round-up, and there's still time to join in last weeks if mew haven't already.
Until then
Keep Calm and Colour OM!
