Anyhoo it's time for us to go on kitty patrol around the garden before it starts to snow again as appurrently the Beast from the East is coming back this week complete with minus 10 to 15 temperatures, OH JOY AND HAPPINESS!

It is good to be able to get outside for fresh air, but it is too cold for me with the very strong NE wind that won't give up. Only the faintest dusting of snow here, but lots of ice. With all the previous heavy rain there is a lot of run off from the fields which was running down the lane like a river until it froze. Now the ice is getting thicker daily and is 3 inches in places. At least it has stopped all the cars tearing up and down.
