Great news, the catnip and catmint seeds have germinated, so we'll be waiting for them to get a little bigger before we pot them on. The P.A. managed to plant nine dahlias on Sunday, and then she spied some self-set lupins, foxgloves and Turkish sage in the gravel and ended up with twenty-seven more plants, then after she'd finished potting them up, she saw another ten lupins, so that's another job for the weekend! MOL
It's been a little overcast and cool his week so far, although we are hopeful some warmer weather will appear soon.
We've also been working on a new Bird TV episode for YouTube, and hopefully that will be live soon, mew know the feathery flutterers can be rather sneaky and there's a lot of editing to be done, but we're nearly there. We'll let mew know when it gets posted so mew can see some the birds in the BBHQ garden.
Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.
First up in the news this week
Fudge and Melvyn Trying A Little Colour Healing
Mew know that the P.A. makes the Snuggle Mats for cats, well she also makes Chakra Meditation Mats, and after making oodles of 3 x 3 square colour tonal mats, she decided to make a full-length one and here is it.
A full chakra healing quilted healing mat, and guess who was first on the orange squares, well mew can see for yourself! MOL
Melvyn was doing a little work on his third eye and throat chakras, using the purple and blue squares. Smooch later got on the green squares, which are for the heart chakra.
As mew can see it is a total hit with The B Team, even though made it for herself!
Next up in the news
The Carnivorous Catticus Smooch Has Officially Moved
A couple of weeks ago, the Carnivorous Catticus Smooch was residing in a lovely pot on the deck, yet today in the garden, this rather temperamental plant genus has relocated itself next to the catmint!
And as we suspected in our last update, he is taking over the garden! MOL
Finally this week
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
The P.A. whistled him from along the landing and he came out of the bedroom, then bolted into the BBHQ office, so don't blink when mew watch his epic modelling fail on the videos, as mew'll miss him. Though, the P.A. did do a slo-mo shot at the end! MOL
And the moral of the story is this, Melvyn doesn't do crystal trim on bandanas!
Which one should he model next?
Here's the brand new bandana selection for May, and this month mew've got five to choose from.
Tell us your top pick for next week in the comments!
EXTRA, EXTRA!
That's us done for today, we will be back on Friday with another fab book just for mew and if mew missed any other posts, here are the links:

ReplyDeleteYour midweek photos are always so purrfect and fun! Thanks for joining our Thankful THursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteWe vote for the Echinacea blooms, Melvyn! It sounds like some great stuff is going on in your garden, pals. We hope you get some good weather to keep the blooming going. :)
ReplyDeleteThe full size chakra mat is lovely, but I think the PA will have to join the queue to use it. Smooch looks very comfy spreading in the garden. Well done Melvyn! At least you did wear the jingly crystals.
ReplyDeleteMelvyn did a purrfect job modeling. I would be afraid of the jingle jangle too. I'm a 'quiet on the set' kitty. Flowers flowers flowers. Hope the PA can squeeze in a few photos fur Lynn some day. And what a lovely chakra blankie. Each of you kitties have your own spot. Precious
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the Caticorn! And that mat is quite lovely!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
Stars and Moon!
ReplyDeleteLove the dangling crystals!
Melvyn is a great model. Handsome too.
ReplyDeleteMy pick is #2 for the next bandana.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to all the kitties and a big hug to you. ♥
Yoo have so much going on at yoor house, like we do. Never a dull meowment. I think Melvyn should meowdel the Caticorn. It's a beautiful design. I've been nagging my Momma to grow me catnip like yoo have, so hopefully she will soon. Love, Dori
ReplyDeleteWOW! So much to see here today, sweeties. We have catnip too, it's a lot, but we're not allowed to get out yet, so it has to wait before it can be eaten, unless you come to dinneršø That Chakra-mat is amazing and the bandanas too. We like the Echinacea bandana a lot, especially for this moment, because we all have catched a cold, so it helps looking at it, when you wear it MelvinšŗDouble Pawkisses for all of you sweetie piesš¾š½š
ReplyDeleteStars and Moons or/and Prickly Cactus!!!
ReplyDeleteSo much š cool garden activity, some of it moving around on it's own mysterious power! I do love that colorful meditation mat. Melvyn is one fast moving cat guy. I like the catcus bandana, but all the new ones are cute.
ReplyDeleteThat blanket is awesome. The PA is so talented. I choose #4. And Melvyn, you look great in today's choice. XO
