Welcome to another selfie selection and today it's my turn to get all selfie'd up! MOL

Finally, now purrlease can I go and blow something up, as I much prefer that to taking selfies! MOL
This Weeks Top Selfie Tip:
We have several different camera's but mainly effurything we take is with an iPhone, though sometimes we use a Sony compact, a Fuji bridge camera, plus we have a GoPro action camera too, though we haven't got around to using that yet.
Lighting is furry impawtant in taking a good picture as mew know, and sadly we have really crappy natural light throughout the winter in our house, [in fact it's a nightmare all year round as we have small windows] so a lot of our pics are tweaked in a program to alter the contrast and lighting so mew guys get to experience a better version of the original.
Also, at this time of year photos taken in natural light can be rather washed out and using regular home lighting just creates a yellow effect, which is not the vibe we want.
So our top tip fur today is, don't be afraid of using programs or apps to make your pics look better, sharper, cleaner and more vibrant. And if mew want to know the myriad of apps and programs we use, just ask.

DeleteOur Mom has to wait all the way to May to celebrate Mother's Day here. And we have to admit the fact you celebrate early to us causes great panic and consternation here as Mommy sees all the Mother's Day post and fears she forgot to get Grandma a card. MOL it's hilariously funny.

DeleteBasil, we have exactly the same problem with photos taken in our house...little natural light except in the kitchen. We live in an ancient house that is dark, no matter the time of year. Mom or Dad probably "tweak" every photo on our blog. We love the profile selfies. We always think these are super nice, but we also like the others as we get to see your adorable heart-shaped nose. DeleteBasil, those are really good selfie tips and your selfies are amazing. Mom asks if she has to keep the camera icon flipped around to selfie mode to take a selfie or can it be in regular mode, 'cause my selfies aren't turning out very clear in selfie mode. Is there a selfie protocol? Hugs!
ReplyDeleteValentine dude, oh we use regular mode and put the iPhone on a tripod as we found taking in it selfie mode flipped the image so mew don't look as good. I'll show mew what I mean on Sunday, we'll do a special tutorial! MOL XOX
