Fudge's Spidery Basket Selfie

Yep, the spidery blanket in the basket under the gazebo is still unwashed and still extremely spidery.

The P.A. keeps going to check if Sydney is still living his best life, and yes, he is. Utterly unbothered and fully committed to his outdoor zen space.

(Though in reality, she just peeks in, sees the long, hairy, spidery legs, shudders, tries not to scream, and walks ... sorry ... runs away at speed!)

And now it seems that Sydney and Fudge are having deep and meaningful conversations too, not just Smooch! 

Sydney is really making new furiends and expanding his tribe! MOL

Plus Fudge has banned Melvyn from the basket, as Melvyn has a 'taste' for spiders, yes, there's evidence, and several chalk outlines around BBHQ.

Anyhoo, it's time for us to go and do the usual Sunday vibe, lunch is on, and gardening is temporarily postponed due to blustery and rather inconvenient rain. That has also ruined all our pre-planned pawtrols! MOL 

 But so it goes ... though we did ask Humphrey if he could build a weather-manipulating machine, aka W.M.M., but he said they are already being deployed, so he heard, but don't quote him, and if he built us one, it could possibly make the weather even worse.

We're having a weather summit this week, and we may look at building a biosphere over BBHQ. We'll keep mew posted; planning permission will likely be an issue due to the conservation caveat on the village.

Anyhoo, we'll see mew bright and breezy in the morning when we're back with a supurr fun, Crafting with Cats post that has an Easter twist.

Welcome to another BBHQ selfie selection. This time, Pandora said it was her turn, and here is the little furry feline on the deck. It was a bit overcast the other day, but mew can see the pots in the background, yes, there is life, and hopefully, this next week or so, colour will burst forth. 

We're quite excited to see, as these were only planted in autumn/fall, so we have no idea how colourful they may be! #excitingtimes #worththewait

Smooch and Fudge were just out of shot, and she warned them, "Don't come any closer, mew'll ruin it!" MOL

Oh yes, she can be quite bossy at times, just like Amber. But for Cod's sake, don't tell Amber we said that, as all library privileges will be revoked faster than mew could say:

I'll have a niptini, shaken, not stirred, with a spring of catmint on the side!

As always, Smooch is getting ready for lunch ... he keeps staring at the oven with wanton aggression whilst growling intermittently. The P.A. said he will have to wait until she's finished in the garden, and no, we can't repeat his reply! MOL 

Then we'll be commenting and hopping around everypawdy's blog catching up as we do every Sunday, because there aren't enough hours in the week at the moment.

We'll be back bright and breezy in the morning, and look forward to your company then with 'something', we're not sure what, so we'll just say SURPRISE!

Supurr Fluff Smooch's Courtyard Selfie on The Sunday Selfies Blog Hop & Caturday Art Hop

Welcome to another BBHQ supurr selfie. And this week's selfie star is Smooch.

 Smooch is here braving the icy chill to get the purrfect photo for mew today. And that's why he's looking supurr fluffy! MOL

Smooch is such a dude; he loves being outside. That stems from his kittenhood, as he was feral until the P.A. started taming his brothers and sisters at her work.  

When he first arrived at BBHQ after his RTA (road traffic accident, aka hit by a car) and had to stay indoors for quite some time as his purrsonal GPS recalibrated to BBHQ being the new home base, he did get a little grouchy until finally, the P.A. let him outside, and under my expert tutelage and guidance, he soon learned the ropes.

I showed him all the best places to go, and ever since then, he's loved it.

He's the best tripawed dude ever, I have two words for him, and mew know what they are:

EPICALLY EPIC!

We're off to pawtrol the BBHQ perimeter and enjoy some time outdoors as, for the last three days, the temperature has reached a heady 15 degrees Celcius, and even though it's been a bit drizzly on and off, those extra few digits on the thermometer have really made a difference.
