Time To Give Those Little Grey Cells a Workout on Brain Training with Professor Basil P.H.D. #32 & Did Mew See My Pawesome Pawtrait? Just Call Me King Basil! MOL

Happy Purrsday guys

Oh wow have I got something epically epic to share with mew today.

Remember the pawesome peeps from the company:-

I did a post in November featuring their amazing cushions which Marvelous Marv and The Critters in The Cottage won in our fab competition.

Anyhoo I mentioned way back then that I was wanting a pawtrait and guess what the P.A. surprised me with, yep my furry own King Basil pawtrait, how epic is that... epically epic on so many levels it doesn't bear thinking about!

I mean just look at me, I was born to be a king fur sure! MOL

Royalty is just oozing from effury fibre of my being, my fur is tingling with the amount of royalty I'm feeling in this moment, in fact I wunder if I have a castle with a moat and turrets and a really big, multi-leveled dungeon to move the BionicBasil HQ to... hmmmmm... let me just check on that.

Appurrently the P.A. says just because I got the pawtrait doesn't mean I get a free castle, which I find rather pants, and she says the only ones that come up fur sale these days are in the wilds of Scotland and are mainly derelict and thus furry cold.

Awwwww phooey, I really saw myself and The B Team living the dream in some Camelot style castle with a round table and we could have rebranded ourselves as The Camelot Cats! MOL

Ah well, I can dream...

And now I think it's time to get some brain-training done, but before we engage our little grey cells I need to say; thank mew so much to Royal Cats and Dogs fur immortalizing my furry fizzog, mew guys did a pawesome job!

It's time to get those little grey cells wurking.

Here's the answer key to last weeks puzzle  How did mew do?

Are mew ready fur this weeks puzzle?
Edie, I tried to see if it could be completed on a webpage without printing, but unfortunately it won't let you fill in the numbers ??? sorry!

Just right click to save the puzzle to your 'puter or print it off.

Answer key will be on next weeks post.

Just right click to save the wurdsearch to your 'puter or print it off.

And here's this weeks jigsaw puzzle, featuring me, King Basil because who doesn't want to see this epic pawtrait again! MOL

It took me 12 mins 41 secs...  How did you do?

The amazing Eastside Cats are absolutely thrashing my times lately, with HRH Erin coming in a close second, these guys are really taking it to a new level.  GREAT JOB GUYS!!!

Lets see how they do this week!

The B Team's King Arthur Selfie at Tintagel on The Sunday Selfies **PLUS** Smooch's UK Historical Travel Guide

Furbulous Sunday greetings furiends

Welcome to another BBHQ selfie extraordinaire. And today it was Melvyn's choice of where to visit as it's his birthday on Thursday, and we said dude, mew can go anywhere, but as he loves Camelot and Legends of King Arthur. He said, "I want to go back to Tintagel!"

So here's our epic selfie!

The B Team's King Arthur Selfie at Tintagel

Mew may notice that Smooch is sitting on Fudge's tail, he said, and I quote, "Dude, I didn't want to get a cold bum on the rocks!"
I can't repeat Fudge's reply, as we're a furmily friendly blog! MOL

We all love the Arthurian legends of old, and we're delighted when Melvyn chose to go back to Cornwall and indulge in a bit of fandom for the Great King Arthur!

The Gallos statue is 2.4m or 7ft 10" tall, therefore we did have to use a little photoshop wizardry so mew could actually see us! MOL

Here's a little bit of info from BBHQ's Historical Travel Guide, Smooch:

Greetings to all the history aficionados and travel enthusiasts out there!

Tintagel is a small village in Cornwall, England, and mew definitely want to add the Gallos King Arthur statue to your list of must-see attractions. This impressive bronze statue stands tall at the entrance of Tintagel Castle, which is said to be the birthplace of King Arthur. The statue, created by sculptor Rubin Eynon, depicts King Arthur holding his legendary sword, Excalibur, with one hand and a shield with his coat of arms in the other. The intricate details of the armour and the facial expression of the statue truly capture the strength and bravery of this legendary dude. As mew stand in front of the statue, mew can't help but feel a sense of awe and admiration for the mythical king who, according to legend, fought bravely for his people and defended his kingdom against all odds. It's no wonder that Tintagel has become a popular destination for those interested in Arthurian mythology. Whether mew're a die-hard fan of King Arthur or simply appreciate beautiful art, the Gallos King Arthur statue is definitely worth a visit. What an epically epic testament to the enduring legacy of this iconic dude and a reminder of the power of myth and legend to capture the imagination of generations.

This dude was truly EPICALLY EPIC, and The B Team does bow to his greatness!

Happy Trails

Smooch

The effect was created with the ios Prisma App, and we used the effect:- Spring plus changes to shadows, then we added a vignette filter to darken the edges while keeping the brightness in the centre of the picture.

We also turned this fab arty-farty picture into a puzzle, so do stop by the puzzle page and take the Puzzle Challenge, see if mew can beat our time of 7 mins 57 secs.

Just before we go, we want to answer The J-Cats question from last week's selfie, which was:

A propos stone circles, we were wondering what you think about those Nuts-Case Humans who sprayed Stonehenge with paint.

We find this blatant and wanton disregard for this Ancient Monument beyond reprehensible.
What the fluff did Stonehenge ever do to anypawdy? Purrhaps it was a case of let's try to ruin the Summer Solstice just because we can???

Anyhoo, it's time for us to go and start getting the Nip Nirvana Lounge ready for Melvyn's epic rave, and then we're going to spend the afternoon in the garden.

We do hope mew have an epic day and join us again on the morrow, when it may be Brain Training or it could be ManCat Monday! MOL

In the meantime ...

Anyhoo we're off to do a spot of reclining in a cool shady spot, as the temperature decided to climb yesterday. We've got several fans ruffling our fur, keeping it cool and we think the P.A. might make us some of these yummy frozen tuna treats after she's cooked lunch, and Smooch has had his roast beef.

We'll be back tomorrow with another fab Brain Training post, and if mew missed Amber's latest book review, click here to catch up on the epic series she's been reading.

Also, we'll be announcing the winner of my birthday giveaway on Wednesday's post, so don't miss that, as it could be mew!

We do hope mew have an epic day, and remember to...
