Welcome to
Wunderpurr greetings fabulous furiends
Today we're sharing one of our *sponsored posts with mew from the fabulous peeps at...
... who emailed us a few weeks ago and asked if we'd like to try their brand new waterless pet shampoo, not just for cats, but K9's, bunnies and even horses can use it too. So we said we'd love to try a sample here at BionicBasil HQ.
About Nilaqua:
Now we know that all mew kitties and peeps are thinking; we cats lick our fur so what's in the bottle and is it safe, as we asked that question right from the get-go.
And we were assured that, yes it is completely safe for cats; as mew know we wouldn't try anything if it wasn't.
Here's what else they have to say:
First of its kind
The first deep cleansing waterless
shampoo that also deters unwanted critters.
Using natural oils
Your pets health is our top
priority. That's why we don't use any strong chemicals. Just natural, essential
oils.

NILAQUA® IS SO KIND AND GENTLE IT CAN BE USED ON A VARIETY OF ANIMALS
Now as mew know, we're not the kind of kitties who get bathed, as in actually bathed in the bath, a sink or similar. None of us has ever had that experience, the most we've effur had is being gently washed with a warm, damp flannel should we come home aftur a rather durty excursion. So this was a whole new experience for The B Team... watch the video to see who got partly washed and how it went down... FYI we tested the original formula...
While Fudge didn't make the best shampoo model today, we still think this product is really great. The P.A. said she wished there was something like this available when she had her horses and dogs years ago. One of her ponies was called Charlie, he was pure white and he loved rolling in the filthiest, muddiest place in the field and he'd always do it the day before a show or event - it was like he knew that they were off to compete.
So having something like this as an emergency clean-up without having to resort to an allover wash would have been brilliant, especially in the colder months.
Also the P.A.'s last dog, the cutest little Jack Russell you effur saw: Miss Daisy Mai [OTRB Sept 2010] had a dreadful habit of rolling in rather 'yucky stuff' when out on walks and she hated to be bathed in the sink, so this again would have been excellent to clean her up aftur one of her little misadventures.
Now, these products aren't 100% natural or organic, which may put some pet owners off, but we think fur a quick clean up or a clean-up on the go for K9 owners especially, that this is a really fab product and would make an excellent addition to your pet necessities in your supply cupboard.
And let's not furget that as it's waterless, so it kinder for the planet too and we really like that a lot!

I am mad in love with this video! We enjoy a good waterless bath on the Bayou too.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys, and yes waterless is the way forward fur sure! XOX
DeleteI get show baths about twice a month (whether I'm doing shows or not - to keep both my human and me in practice), but these sound good for in between, when I'm doing hospital visits, and I'm not 100% fresh - better than wipes.
ReplyDeleteOh Summer, this would be purrfect fur mew then! XOX
DeleteWe love your video and yes Fudge didn't really take to it, but I suspect he would over time.
ReplyDeleteAdding this to my friends sharing file.
MOL yep Fudge was a bit apprehensive but in subsequent waterless washes he's really starting to get the hang of it, he's a good little soldier! MOL XOX
DeleteThat sounds pretty good, especially the no water part!
ReplyDeleteBrian it is really fab, and Amber's next on the list fur a waterless wash! Just need to find the chain-mail gauntlets fur the P.A.! MOL XOX
DeleteHi Basil and the B Team, this is Jake. Poor Fudge, the youngest always get the dirtiest (cleanest?) jobs. I was thinking, my human could use this, she smells so peopley.
ReplyDeleteP.U. Oops, gotta go, here she comes and she looks mad. See you tomorrow.
Hey Jake buddy, yep it's always the youngest isn't it?!! MOL Dude come and hang out with us again, we'll go fur a drive in the tank while your Mom cools off! XOX

DeleteI have two very strange cats who happen to like water...even play in the bathtub! Quite an entertaining post!
ReplyDeleteHi Cathy, oh how fun that your kitties love water and play in the bath tub, that's so pawesome! MOL XOX
DeleteWhat a star Fudge could be, just has to settle his nerves before hand.... maybe a nip spritzer would do, I know it would me! I have to say that this product sounds awesome, and we are impressed at the ingredients too. Sounds like a winner!
ReplyDeleteERin
Hey Erin, yes he defo needed a nip spritzer! MOL XOX
DeleteThat does sound like a good product. It would have been ideal for Eric. He had a thing about pheasant poop, and even though he loved water he didn't appreciate getting his head and neck washed in the horse trough when he rubbed his face in it in the fields.
ReplyDeleteHey guys, this would have been purrfect fur Eric fur sure, peasant poop is not nice and neither is the horse tough! MOL MOL MOL XOX
DeleteI think petcretary would love to use that on me and Dalton, too...he can get into the stinky stuff fur sure...and back in the day, MJF was one who just adored decorating himself with deer doo-doo...YUCK!
ReplyDeleteI was fun to see Fudge get a 'bath'!
Petcretary giggled at the name of that product...NilAqua! (No water)...purrfect!
Hiya Pipo, oh guys would be purrfect, deer-do-do rather unpleasant fur sure, Daisy used to roll in fox do-do, UGGGGHHHHHHHHH! Really great name too, as mew said, purrfect! MOL XOX
DeleteThat was a great review! I love your little voice Basil. XO
ReplyDeleteAwwww thanks guys, we try our best mew know! MOL XOX
