 Furbulous Greetings Supurr Furiends

Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!

Happy Wednesday, fluffy furiends, here's hoping your midweek is just totally terrific!

First, let's take a look at the weather report; it's been a mixed bag again. Later last week, it was sunny and warm; then, over the weekend, it cooled slightly with a bit of drizzly rain on Caturday and an overcast Sunday.

Monday was sunny but fresh, and yesterday was not bad, if mew could get in the sun, otherwise it was a little chilly. And the evening temperatures are really starting to drop, so yep, thank cod for fur coats on our early evening garden pawtrols! MOL

Look at this!

A single green citrus fruit—possibly a lime—grows on a leafy branch indoors near a sunlit window, symbolizing quiet magic in BBHQ’s enchanted garden. Below, a decorative white crystal rests on a black base atop a wooden surface, hinting at mystical energy and natural harmony. The brick wall backdrop adds warmth and texture to this peaceful scene. The lime or lemon - we're not sure, but whatever it is, is growing! And so are the others, though still very small at the moment. We'll keep mew updated as to the progress or not, as this is a first for BBHQ! MOL

And look at this!

Stunning roses and dahlias burst into bloom in the BBHQ garden, captured in a vibrant 3x3 floral collage. Rich red, pink, orange, and white petals showcase the diversity of late-summer colour, with intricate shapes and lush textures. Set against garden backdrops of foliage and outdoor charm, these flowers highlight BBHQ’s botanical magic.  Last week, we had really nothing to show as far as the flowers in the garden were concerned, and then this week, we've had a blooming explosion of colour! MOL

There's nothing like a splash of colour in the garden to make mew smile.

Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.

First up in the news this week

Parsley's Got Mini Gordon the Ghost

Parsley, BBHQ’s sleek black feline, lounges on a woven rug with his beloved mini Gordon the Ghost Kicker catnip toy—handcrafted by the crew. Curled up in quiet contentment, Parsley rests his paws on the white spooky-shaped plush, eyes alert and serene. The warm wooden floor and soft textures create a peaceful home setting. Parlsey found Mini Gordon the ghost in the toy basket, took him into the kitchen and gave him a right good kicking! MOL

I don't think we need to say anymore, other than the catnip inside Mini Gorgon is still really potent!

Next up in the news

Smooch in Motion

Smooch, BBHQ’s white-and-black tripawed feline adventurer, steps boldly across a sunlit path of wooden planks and terracotta tiles. Mid-stride and alert, he locks eyes with the camera, ready for whatever lies ahead. Green leaves scatter across the tiles, hinting at an outdoor jungle setting as he prepares to rejoin the pirate crew. This was Smooch heading towards the back deck, a purrfect picture of a tripawed kitty in motion! MOL

Finally this week

Fudge and Pandora Snoozing on the Sofa

Pandora, BBHQ’s elegant tortoiseshell queen, curls up on a patterned blanket while Ginger Fudge, the laid-back orange tabby, lounges beside her on a dark couch. Surrounded by plush cushions and soft throws, the scene radiates warmth and serenity—capturing a rare moment of pirate downtime. So yesterday, there on the couch, was Pandora and Fudge having a nice little morning snooze, when the P.A. appeared with the vacuum of doom. She wanted to vacuum the cat fur off the throw, but apparently, according to my intel, that didn't happen.

What happened was, Fudge said. "Fluff off, we're comfy, come back later!"

Oh dear! MOL MOL MOL

Basil's epic Throwback to June 2018

Basil, BBHQ’s white-and-tabby feline commander and adventurer, sits proudly on a tiled garden path surrounded by lush greenery and blooming pink flowers. Wearing a red collar with a black tag, he surveys the vibrant scene of potted plants and foliage with quiet confidence. The reddish-brown tiles and well-tended garden create a serene backdrop for this character-rich moment. 2. You're right, there's nothing like flowers to make you cheerful.

Having had citrus trees in the past, this might be a lemon or lime, or an orange of some kind. They all start out looking green.

All of you took great photos this week, with Basil's flashback being the icing on the cake.

I hope the PA got the vacuuming done later, it has to be or you'd drown in fur!
