Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!

Happy Wednesday, pawesome furiends, and thanks so much for dropping by. Settle in, get comfy, and let’s dive into what’s been happening at BBHQ this week.

Let's get the weather report underway. Well, rather surprisingly, it was supurr on Friday and Caturday, sun puddles galore and more warms than we actually knew what to do with.

Then, as in true British Bank Holiday Horror ~ Sunday was vile, as was Monday; overcast, dull, with a brutal, frigid breeze, big blobs of rain intermittently, and yeah, a bit of a washout. 

But as many of mew will know, 9 times out of 10, a bank holiday is a total washout; it's to be expected.

Did mew get any sun puddles this weekend?

Anyhoo, the moon on the 1st was rather spectacular, and on the way back from puzzling, the P.A. snapped this as she crossed the courtyard.

And don't panic, the telephone box does glow, yes, in 16 million colours until midnight. Then it goes to sleep, as it gets very tired! 

The P.A. calls it a disco for one, or two if you don't mind getting squashed! MOL

No flowers this week, but....

Ravensburger Crazy Cats Tabby & Co 500 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

If mew were here for last week's news, mew would have read that the P.A. declared a BBHQ Emergency.

That emergency was no more TV, and going forward, it would be puzzles instead.

Here's the next one completed, and it did take a while to complete ... during construction, sentences like this were muttered many times over:

So much fun, so many pieces, and so much chaos. 

After completing three 500-piece puzzles (we'll share the third 500-piece one next week), the P.A. got a tad more daring and bought a 1000-piece one - yep, we'll leave mew to think about that! MOL MOL

Parsley was enjoying an epic snooze on the lawn next to the rapidly emerging lupins.

He says the moss is much nicer to nap on than the prickly grass.

Look at That Huge Floof

Fudge and Pandora were on the bench with the P.A., and then this happened!

POOF!

And Fudge's giant tail literally exploded in everypawdy's face!

Both were caught in the initial fallout!!! MOL

Smooch's Opinion of The Bank Holiday Weather

Look at this, mew know when he's hissed off and contemplating a fix.

The lawn was too wet, the breeze too ruffly in his fur, the rain too blobby.

Yep, he went into the bunker, called Humphrey and asked.

"Dude, what's taking so long with the BioDome Bubble for BBHQ?"

We can't repeat Humphrey's reply, but he did indicate that the dome won't be happening anytime soon due to the Swallows' arrival last week, and other things.
