Pandora was the purrfect selfie star today, as she sat on the lawn, and it was the easiest selfie she's ever taken. 

And if mew were here on Wednesday for the Midweek News, mew will already know about the 'weedy' lawn - yep, Fudge was complaining horribly!!! MOL

Pandora's Weedy Lawn Selfie


A long‑haired tortoiseshell cat named Pandora sits gracefully on a green lawn dotted with small yellow wildflowers and a few weeds frowing through the grass. Her dark, fluffy fur blends shades of black, brown, and auburn, and her bright green eyes gaze calmly toward the camera. Pandora doesn't actually care and gives zero fluffs about what it looks like; she just likes to pootle around and enjoy being outside.

Here's the story: the P.A. hated the lawn here and after 18 years, and nothing working to make it look nice. She decided that new turf was the way to go. So she had the old lawn ripped up, the nasty soil removed, and 20 tonnes of new topsoil put down before the new turf was laid.

Now Cat Dad was working abroad at the time, so the P.A. had a gardener come and mow because she's banned from using anything sharp and whizzy, i.e., a mower. (Don't ask, mew don't want to know!)

So the mower dude comes and mows the brand-new turf with a filthy, disease-ridden machine that had never been cleaned after being used in all the other infested gardens he mowed, and then the next thing, the brand-new bowling green lawn got infected... and well, here we are...

There have been many treatments, scarification, reseeding, lawn sand, aerations, seaweed, etc etc etc., and it still looks hideous.

This for the P.A is like mental cruelty; all she wants is the bowling green lawn. Is that too much to ask? Apparently it is!!! MOL

It's been another warm few days, and according to the latest weather forecast, it's allegedly going to remain around the mid-twenties and up... but not exceeding thirty degrees, so that's not bad. And there's been a nice, gentle, fur-ruffling breeze. So we're all delighted about that.

We'll be back in the morning with a super fun post, but it's a surprise for now, as we've decided Mondays are the new 'wildcard' day!!! MOL
