The BBHQ Midweek News Round-Up **OMC THE YUCCA DID IT AGAIN!** ~ Melvyn's In The Shroom, Pandora's Enjoying the Garden, and Fudge's On The Table ~ **PLUS** ROBIN!!! MOL

This week on the news: Clement weather, yucca flowers, shrooms, gardens and gazebos!

Epic Greetings, Furbulous Furiends

Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!

Happy Wednesday, and thank mew for stopping by! Pull up a chair, make yourself comfortable, and let’s catch up on what’s been happening at BBHQ over the past few days.

The Weather Report

We know this is going to sound so terribly boring, but the weather is still the same as last week, it's nice and sunny during the day, high teens to low twenties, so nothing to complain about there. The evenings are still a little cooler but not so much that sitting under the gazebo is off the table.

However, the weather report for the next few days shows temperatures dropping to the mid-teens and single figures at night.

Really, for this time of year, we're feeling blessed!

This Week's Flower Offering

We can't believe the yucca has produced two huge flower spikes this year, really impressive.

And here's a bit of a secret... **glances around furtively** ...the P.A. hates it... not the flowers; she loves the flowers, but the spiky, aggressive, needle-point leaves... she hates those!

The other day we watched with much amusement as she took the secateurs and snipped the tips off one side; she still has the other to do! MOL

Are there any plants mew don't like in your garden, patio, balcony, home? Do tell, spill the tea!

Anyhoo, here are this week's top headlines.

First up in the news

Melvyn's In The Shroom

Remember last week, when Smooch didn't want the Shroom moving?

Well, it got moved, and Melvyn moved in... OH DEAR!!! MOL

Next up in the news

Pandora's Enjoying the Garden

Pandora found the sweet spot on the lawn, dappled shade and no ant nest! MOL

Last week, Parsley had to be gently removed from one...

Finally this week

Fudge's On The Table

Fudge decided to see which areas of the sofas were clear from atop the table under the gazebo... he was instantly disappointed...mew can't see, but Parsley was fast asleep at the end of the table on that sofa, all snuggled up among the cushions.

And Smooch was on the sofa to the right, yeah, Fudge was not happy...

The P.A. had to carry him inside for extra treats, then let him snooze on top of Smooch's Shroom!!! MOL

Upper Snack Lounge

Today, my lovely readers, I give mew ROBIN!

Tabbies of Trout Towne - Keep Scrolling!

This little feathery furiend was under the carport while the P.A. was getting the washing in - yes, we dry everything under here on three front-to-back lines in between the car bays - it's fantastic.

Anyhoo, this is where the swallows nest too, but they departed for Africa last month - we've never seen a robin under here, so the P.A. put out extra snacks at the other end where we keep the bird seed in metal dustbins.

So this little fluffer had a right pile to nom all afternoon! MOL

That's us done for today. Amber will be back on Friday with her first book review of the new season, and if mew missed any other posts, here are the links:

The BBHQ Midweek News Round-Up **Dreamy Dahlias** ~ Fudge's Amble In The Courtyard, Smooch Says NO Leave My Shroom Alone, and Parsley's Loving The Lawn ~ **PLUS** More in The BBHQ Bunker!!! MOL

This week on the news: starburst dahlias, ladybird relocation, ginger floof ambling, white floof snoozing and black floof avoiding an ant's nest... plus the new snack lounge.

 Furbulous Floofy Greetings, Supurr Furiends

Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!

Happy Wednesday, and thank mew so much for stopping by. Pull up a chair, get comfortable, and let’s dive into what’s been happening at BBHQ over the last few days.

Sorry we're late commenting on all your epic blogs; we ran out of time over the last week or so, but we've got everypawdy's blog open in a tab group and will start working our way through over the next few days to catch up. We can't wait to see what mew've all been up to! MOL

The Weather Report

Not much to report; temps have been steadily hovering around 20C, up and down a little. There have been a few rain showers, nothing of note though. It's much cooler at night, and the evenings are really drawing in; yep, we don't like that at all. We like it light till 10.30pm every night! MOL

We keep seeing Supurr El Nino reports, with horrific doomsday predictions of incoming gigantor weather of the hostile variety... hmmmmm... I suppose all we can do is watch this space and see what happens; hopefully it's just a nice clement winter, with enough rainfall to top up the reservoirs for next summer with no snow or ice. This scenario would be right up our alley! MOL

This Week's Flower Offering

It's like a magical pink starburst!

This dahlia is one of our favourites; it is so pretty in real life. The shades of pink are incredible, but I think we were lucky that the light was purrfect to capture it in all its glory on the proper camera!

This is a lucky ladybird. The P.A. saw it crawling next to her foot under the table a second before she moved, and thank cod she did; otherwise it would have been no more ladybird...

The P.A. lowered her hand to the ground, let it crawl onto her finger, and safely relocated the ladybird to the yellow daisy, where it scooted around the underside of the petals.

So cute!

Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.

First up in the news...

 Fudge's Amble In The Courtyard

Fudge was taking a little stroll in the courtyard and airing out his behemoth floof.

The P.A. said, thank cod this bit was NOT the weedy part of the courtyard.

Yep, the weeds have been growing supurr fast the last couple of weeks, and no sooner has the hoe come out and said "weeds removed" than a whole new swathe of green appears among the stones! MOL

Next up in the news...

Smooch Says - NO - Leave My Shroom Alone

The P.A. has moved the BBHQ office around and wanted to move the Shroom... Yeah, Smooch had other ideas.

This is his silent protest! MOL

The standoff still continues; more on this story next time - maybe!

Finally this week...

 Parsley's Loving The Lawn

The lawn has greened up no end over the last couple of weeks, and the clover has spread, creating a lush green carpet which has pleased the P.A. tremendously, as from this angle it looks really, really good; just don't walk towards the trees in the background unless mew want to be engulfed with feelings of horrific lawn disappointment!!! MOL

Parsley loves the lawn, although the P.A. had to pick him up and relocate him as he was near an ant's nest!

The BBHQ Midweek News Round-Up **Terrific Trees** ~ Parsley's Bathing Under the Gazebo, Smooch and Melvyn - Treat Time, and Fudge On The Prowl ~ **PLUS** WHO THE FLUFF IS THAT!!! MOL

This week on the news: epic trees, bathing rituals, delicious treats, and fence prowling with Fudge!

The Weather Report

Oh my, it turned rather warm again yesterday, a heady 25C, lovely but no breeze. The last few days have also been very nice around 20C, utterly delightful. No rain, but that's on its way later today, and three days are forecast early next week.

So the weather is being well behaved, and zero complaints from BBHQ! MOL

This Week's Flower Offering

Sorry, no flowers today, but the trees are gorgeous, and the pink sky behind was just so pretty the other evening.

And to think 26 years ago, there wasn't a tree here... A quarter of a century later, it's like a mini woodland vibe... yeah, it's lovely.

Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.

First up in the news...

 Parsley's Bathing Under the Gazebo

So the other day, freshly laundered blankets went on the sofa under the gazebo.

Parsley wasted no time getting ensconced on that fresh blanket for a bath!! MOL

Next up in the news...

Smooch and Melvyn - Treat Time

At bedtime, the treats come out, and guess who got there first? Yep, these two heathens! MOL

And look how they positioned themselves; that's because the P.A. gives them a few each, and they've discovered that if they are back to back, they are more likely to eat everything they've been given.

Facing one another, this happens: Fudge will edge forward, hoover up everything in front of him, then back up and eat his. Yeah, very sneaky, but so Fudge!

Do mew have this issue in your home?

Finally this week...

 Fudge On The Prowl

Don't ask what Fudge was prowling around the top of the fence for... we asked; he replied.

"Classified!"

Pandora reckoned he was stalking a pigeon. Here's hoping he doesn't get served with a restraining order anytime soon!!! MOL

WHO THE FLUFF IS THAT!!!

Well, mew knew we were going to show mew something like this at some point! MOL

Yep, we are this cool, we are this armed, we are THE B TEAM!

And we're just getting mew warmed up for a new adventure coming hopefully later next month, HOOAH!

We'll be back again on Friday with Melvyn, and more from the 'Oddity '- do mew think we'll discover who opened the portal? Who do mew think it was?

Do join us then, as mew know how much we love your company.
