Furbulous Greetings Supurr Furiends
Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!
It's been a rainy and quite cooler week at BBHQ. There was not much sun on the sun front, but there was one brief Sunspot window, which mew can see later in the post!
As promised, here are a couple more photos from the Highland Adventure a few weeks ago, and if mew saw our Sunday Selfies post, when the P.A. went to a stone circle at Invermoriston and didn't tell us.
The following photos are from Invermoriston. This meautiful woodland leads to a cascading river, and right on the edge, high up above the river is a round, stone summer house, and from that vantage point mew can look up towards the Telford Bridge - see the second photo.
What a view!!!
Sadly, it was an overcast day, so just imagine how great this place is when it's sunny!
Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.
First up in the news this week
Smooch Wondering Whether To Catch The Pigeon
Smooch was ambling around the garden the other day when this ginormous, fat pigeon landed in front of him.
So close, yet so far! MOL
One thing's for sure, there'd have been some good eating on that one, and Basil would have relished it.
Next up in the news
What's Happening on The Landing?
No explanation was given, only the caution:
MEW DON'T HAVE THE CLEARANCE LEVEL! MOL
Jumpin' juniper berries, what do mew think is going on?
Purrhaps a new adventure is about to start...
Finally this week
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
Melvyn is modelling the second bandana of July. It was a draw between #2 and #4, so Melvyn was given the choice, and this was the outcome!
And here he is, looking super furbulous as always...
Which one should he model next?
Here's the brand new bandana selection for July, and this month mew've got five to choose from.
The options from the top left in a clockwise direction:
1. What Sign Are Mew? (Melvyn's a crabby Cancer ruled by the moon!)
3. Top Banana
4. The Cat Bug
Tell us your top pick for next week in the comments!
Smooch's Top Sunspot
Smooch found the best and supurr brief sunspot on Sunday morning when the P.A. was changing the throws and plumping the back cushions.
That's us done for today. Amber will be here on Friday with the last review of the current season, so do join us then, as mew know how much we love your company.

WOW! That water scene is so beautiful!!! Y'all sure have fun and Smooch, that was some sunpuddle prime location. Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteI am very much enjoying the adventure photos, as long as your PA wants to continue sharing them.
ReplyDeleteThat was a very big bird, but I'm glad you didn't eat it. You get fed plenty and the bird probably has a family to go home to.
Not enough clearance? You're right, adventure may be around the corner.
Excellent modeling, Melvyn! Since 2 and 4 were tied, perhaps it's only fair 4 goes next.
Happy sunpuddle napping, Smooch!
Thank you for the stunning pictures
ReplyDeleteThe photos from Scotland are beautiful. Great modelling Melvyn, even if Fudge did try and get in on the action!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post, Smooch. You're so good looking.
ReplyDeleteI pick top banana for next week.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week. Scritches to the kitties and a hug to mom. ♥
The bridge photo and the walk through the beautiful trees to get there is beautiful. So is smooch with that tummy that would always have MY mom trying to smooch it if only she was there and Smooch said OK. I think bandana #4 is my pick! Now, Mom has clearance and that spreads to me..may I join the confabulation?
ReplyDeleteSpectacular photos, both the land and waterscapes, and all the kitties! That was a fun walk, with Fudge along! Hmmm, maybe Top Bananas for next week?
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. Melvyn is an excellent model. XO
ReplyDeleteWe love those nature photos. So beautiful! That meeting on the landing looks pretty serious. And Melvyn, how about going bananas next week?
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place your PA visited!
ReplyDeleteI like the cat bugs bandana!
Scotland appears to be a beautiful place to be!
ReplyDeleteBananas is my vote.
