Guys, what a place, seriously it was breathtaking!

Mew know how much we love ancient standing stones and stone circles, see our previous trips to:

Here's a little bit of info from BBHQ's Historical Travel Guide, Smooch:

Greetings fellow travellers and history lovers!

Standing amidst the majestic Callanish Stones on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland, we were left pawe-struck by their grandeur, complexity, and rich historical significance. The stone circle, dating back to around 3000 BC, measures 13 meters in diameter, and the tallest standing stone is an impressive 4.8 meters high standing at the centre of the stone circle next to a chambered tomb. While some historians speculate that the stones were used for astronomical observations or as a place of worship, others believe they were used for ritualistic sacrifices. Regardless of the reason for their construction, the stones have a deep significance in the religious and cultural history of Scotland and continue to attract visitors from around the world. The surrounding landscape is also a spectacular sight to behold, with its rugged coastline and rolling hills stretching out as far as mew can see. Visitors can explore other nearby historical sites, such as the Carloway Broch and the Dun Carloway Iron Age Fort, which offer a glimpse into the rich and fascinating history of the Isle of Lewis. The Callanish Stones are an exceptional example of the ancient architectural wonders that have survived the test of time and continue to captivate and inspire us. So, if mew're ever in Scotland, make sure mew set aside some time to visit these pawe-inspiring stones and immerse yourself in their mystery and meauty.

We tried Prisma again this week, but there was nothing that complemented the picture, so BeFunky came to the rescue.

The effect was created with Befunky - Impressionist 2 + a slight vignette was applied to the outer edges, and the saturation was increased slightly.

We also turned this fab arty-farty picture into a puzzle, so do stop by the puzzle page and take the Puzzle Challenge, see if we can beat our time of 9 mins 37 secs, we thought it was going to take longer, but we surprised ourselves! MOL

We're off to get ready for lunch, the garden safari is on the back burner for today as it's been raining all weekend, but we may get lucky later! MOL

But if we don't get lucky, then we'll be getting snuggled for movie time in front of the fire, and we love a snoozy winter afternoon doing that.

Do join us again tomorrow, when we're back with another episode of Cats Have Problems Too, and check out this week's Despurrate Dilemma.

We do hope we have an epic day, and remember to always...
