Welcome to the BBHQ Midweek News Round-Up!
OMC! Can mew believe the Catmas Countdown has begun? We haven't even got the tree up yet as life, the universe and other stuff has conspired against us, and our boiler broke down on Sunday, hopefully by the time mew read this it will be back up and running, as we are waiting for the boiler dude to come and fix it.
Luckily, the weather hasn't been too cold, well not fluffing freezing, so it's been manageable, though Amber has had several hissy fits and is camped out in front of the fire muttering unmentionables, which obviously we can't repeat! MOL
Anyhoo, here's a quick look at last year's tree, before we jump into this week's headlines. We were hoping to share this years, but that will have to wait until next week now, sorry about that.
Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.
First up in the news
Fudge's Garden Safari + He's Waiting for The Catmas Tree!
Next up in the news
Smooch, Parsley and Pandora on Pawtrol
Don't worry I'll check the security camera footage and if there's anything to report I'll let mew know next week!
Finally this week
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
This week's top pick was the Foxy Festivities bandana, and Melvyn decided to pose on the rug instead of the kitchen island, as he said, "He needed a new modelling perspective!" MOL
He looks so cute!
Which one should he model next?
Here's the brand new December Collection.
The December Collection:
1. Foxy Festivities
2. Catmas Cats
3. Weasel Wonderland
4. Ducking Marvellous
So it will be Ducking Marvellous next week, and we'll be sharing January's brand-new collection next week.
That's us done for today, stop by tomorrow for another Catmas Crafting with Cats, and Amber will be back on Friday with a festive book review, and if mew missed any other posts, here are the links:

You have a lovely tree
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your boiler having issues, mew guys. We hope that boiler dude can do some magic and get mew all up and boiling again! Fudge -- what is that giant pottery thing behind you in the first photo?
ReplyDeleteI was wondering about that too...is it a water urn?? I hope your PA didn't pinch a rock from one of the stone circles somewhere...LOL! As if!
ReplyDeleteIf your 2023 tree is half as pretty as the previous one, it will be gorgeous ansd well worth the wait. Ours has only just gotten up too...same excuses, well, not the boiler or the furnace. Hah! Hope your's get fixed pronto. One does need heat in the wintertime.
I wondered about that huge urn too and wondered if you were building your own stone circle! I hope the boiler is soon fixed.
ReplyDeleteMelvyn looks marvelous on the rug fur a change. And Fudge you out did your usual floofy self. All of you look good outside and we hope your repair man has come and gone and fixed and heated and helped in every way by now.
ReplyDeleteYour tree is most beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love your yard and your kitties.
I choose #4 for next week and I know I'll be right this time.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to all the kitties and a hug to mom. ♥
You all look terrific hanging out and waiting for your tree to arrive! Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteFudge has wonderful coat patterns! Is he named after peanut butter fudge?
ReplyDeleteLove all the kitty pictures, and Melvin's modeling video! Hope your furnace gets fixed quickly!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree. We have a skinny one too. Looks like you are all on Santa watch. XO
ReplyDeleteYou take patrol very seriously, all of you.
ReplyDeleteMs. Amber, I'm with you on the cold being "unmentionable words here."
Your tree is beautiful, I know this year's will be just as lovely.
Melvyn, I do enjoy your modeling. The ducks next week will be my favorite, for sentimental reasons. At Thanksgiving years ago, Papa had decided he must have duck with the traditional turkey, and Nana had her hands full with everything else and was very upset to have to put another thing on the menu. Someone took her to the store and when she got back, my sweet, gentle grandmother, who had never, ever let a bad word cross her lips, looked at Papa with daggers in her eyes and said, "And I got your F***ing Duck, too!"
Papa realized he'd gone too far and never did that again, but it's a family legend and as a result I do love ducks and wouldn't eat one for the world.
