Jumpin' juniper berries, what a week it's been... the weather has been horrid, apart from a couple of brief spells of sunshine - Smooch and Parsley will share these rare moments further in the post - and things have just gone WRONG!
Firstly, let us apologise for not hopping in all the blog hops last week, as we usually link up on a Friday; our interwebs service decided to go on the fritz, and the router failed in the most dismal way. Then the power kept tripping out at the most inopportune moments, the boiler decided to take a vacation, and all in all, it's been a really fluffing fluffed-up week.
The P.A. hasn't made the new bandanas for October - it's Monday afternoon - she's going to try and magic those out of the ether later today, but we'll see. However, if she doesn't get a chance, we'll share the fabric samples temporarily so mew can choose like normal, which one Melvyn will model, and worst-case scenario, she can make them this weekend.
Anyhoo, let's look at the lovely Harvest Moon, which was shining brightly last week! MOL
And now, let's look at this week's top headlines before there are any more fluff-ups! MOL
First up in the news this week
Smooch and Sauce In A Brief Sun Spell
Next up in the news
Pandora's Really Miffed
Pandora was really miffed, as the P.A. promised that she'd get the fence painted, and it hasn't happened, so the poor P.A. had to suffer Pandora's wrath, as the chances of it getting painted now are slim to none.
And apparently, there's a weather event of unprecedented magnitude (supposedly, but hopefully not) headed over Britain between now and the 6th of October. We looked at the radar maps, and if it's correct, most of Britain will be flooded.
But we'll keep mew posted on that... we're purraying to Cod and any other deity who may be listening that it misses us at BBHQ and at the P.A.'s work.
Finally this week
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
He was on top form this week; his modelling took less than 2 minutes. Seriously, he was pawesome! Though he did stop and smell the runner in the kitchen twice, we did wonder what had tickled his nostrils, but we remembered that earlier, there had been some catnip action with Fudge and Smooch, and maybe there were a few traces of the green stuff left! MOL
Oh, and he took a diversion around the bar stools to mix things up a bit this week! MOL
