The B Team's Blackpark Standing Stones Selfie

In a misty forest clearing at Blackpark, seven cats from BBHQ’s B Team pose among lush green ferns and mossy rocks for a whimsical group selfie while visiting the legendary Blackpark Standing Stones. Each feline sports unique colours and patterns, with some perched on stones and others seated near a red British-style telephone booth. Towering trees and a dense canopy frame the scene, while water droplets and soft lighting add a rain-kissed, magical atmosphere. Perfect for enchanted cat squad adventures, mystical location lore, and surreal forest photography from www.bionicbasil.com.

We had a great day out, and we'll keep sharing the epic stone circle trail throughout the winter months!

Here's a little bit of info from BBHQ's Historical Travel Guide, Smooch:

Greetings to all the history aficionados and travel enthusiasts out there!

Welcome back to my historic travel blog, where we're going to explore the mystical and ancient Blackpark Standing Stones on the beautiful Isle of Bute. Situated in a serene and picturesque setting, these Neolithic standing stones have a history that dates back thousands of years.

The Blackpark Standing Stones are a fascinating collection of ancient stones, with a rich history and an air of mystery. Once upon a time, there were more stones in this arrangement, but only three remain standing today. The missing stones only add to the enigma and allure of this historic site. Imagine the stories these stones could tell if they could speak

These standing stones are quartz and have a glittery patina. I love sparkles! MOL It's incredible to think about the peeps who placed these stones here and the purpose they served. Some believe that these stones were used for rituals, ceremonies, or even as astronomical markers. The true purpose remains a tantalising mystery, adding to the allure of this ancient site.

As mew stand among the remaining three stones, mew can't help but feel a sense of pawe and wonder at the history and significance of this place. The rugged beauty of the Isle of Bute provides a stunning backdrop to these ancient relics, creating a truly unforgettable experience.

Visiting the Blackpark Standing Stones is like stepping back in time and connecting with the ancient past. It's a place where history comes alive, and where the whispers of the past can still be heard in the rustling of the wind through the surrounding trees. If mew ever find yourself on the Isle of Bute, make sure to pay a visit to these remarkable standing stones and immerse yourself in their timeless mystique.

Happy Trails
