How's your week going?
If mew read Sunday's post mew will know the BBHQ boiler had been acting up again for a few days and we were pawsitively Baltic as the tempertaures had dropped by several degrees.
But the good news was that Cat Dad went and changed the filter and gaskets on the heating oil tank again, and miraculously the boiler is working - THANK FLUFF - because it gotten even colder. The boiler chap is still coming out today to check things over and do the annual service, so hopefully we'll stay warm.
The rain stopped last week finally, and thankfully the flooding in the courtyard fluffed off, and luckily Cat Dad got the pump working at work just in time to stop the water entering the workshops.
The P.A. went to the local garden centre on Monday, and while there she found this Catmas tree ornament!
What were the odds of that? There it was just hanging about waiting for a new home, so obviously the P.A. couldn't leave it behind, as who knows where it may have ended up! MOL
Now all we have to decide is, if it's Sawragon or LilyDeth, what do mew think?
Anyhoo let's look at this weeks headlines.
First up in the news
Fudge Up The Tree Again
We don't know what it is with him and heights? Luckily he didn't venture onto the roof, as the tiles are really slippy right now.
Parsley's Quiet Contemplation
Parlsey has been hanging in front of the fire in quiet contemplation. But really we think he's dreading his credit card bill as Amber found his hiding placce and went on a little book spending spree! OOPS! MOL
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
This week the catwalk was completely clear for Melvyn to strut his stuff, and he even started his modelling with a leap off the kitchen island! MOL
Which one should he model next?
That's us done for today. Amber will be back on Friday with another pawesome book just for mew, and if mew missed the first Dear Dr Basil post of 2024 with Alphonse the Klepto Cat, click here to catch up.
In the meantime
