Epic Wednesday Greetings Furiends
Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!
How's your week going?
We've got a heavy, tired vibe happening at BBHQ this week, it's like mega-snoozeville. I think we're just waiting for Spring to spring, and even though the weather has been a little warmer than normal for this time of year, we are in despurrate need of some epic sun puddles and warms.
Smooch has even resorted to helping the Spring bulbs grow faster! MOL
We'll let mew know if his warming method works! MOL
Anyhoo, let's look at this weeks headlines.
First up in the news
That's Not Parsley
Jumpin' fluffing juniper berries, who the fluff is that?
Well dear furiends, this is Morty, a cute balck cat who lives across the road from us, and he pops into BBHQ a few days a week coming to sample the remains of last years catnip crop.
Fudge Watching That's Not Parsley!
Morty was just out of view in the camera frame behind the gazebo post, but Fudge had all eyes on him, and he was purretty hissed off.
I mean, blatant catnip rustling in broad daylight, the utter nerve of it!
Next up in the news
Smooch Snuggling In The Basket
Smooch was hanging out in his favourite spot under the gazebo again, he loves his outdoor basket. But he was upstairs snoozing in the Love Shroom when Morty came catnip rustling.
Typical, there's never any security on pawtrol when mew need them! MOL
And finally this week
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
This weeks top pick was the red heart with red tassels bandana.
Melvyn had to stop for a quick snack on one of his catwalk runs, and then he decided he really wasn't feeling the tassel vibe this week! MOL.
Check out his videos on your preferred social media channel:
Each one has different mewsic.
Which one is your favourite?
Which one should he model next?
Here's the February selection.
The February Valentine's Collection:
1. Multi-coloured hearts with lilac fringing
2. Red hearts with red fringing
3. White hearts with glitter ribbon
4. Red heart with red tassels
Next week we'll be sharing the brand new collection for March, and Melvyn will model the final one for February.
We're done for today. Amber will be back on Friday with another fun book review, and if mew missed any other posts, here are the links:

I would hope the generous B team would be willing to share a bit of old catnip with a neighbor.
ReplyDeleteSometimes tassels can be irritating, I hope the glitter doesn't get Melvyn's goat next week.
I hope you get some warm sunpuddles soon.
Good helping in that first pic, Smooch! And that Morty sure is brave, coming into the HQ like that!
ReplyDeleteMelvyn, we think you look quite sharp in that bandana. We guess it's the white hearts with glitter ribbon next time, eh? :)
Someone looks cross about having their picture taken.
ReplyDeleteNever mind Melvyn, we all have our off days. The nerve of Morty pilfering the remainder of last year's nip. He will be back for the fresh stuff in the summer!
ReplyDeleteYou sure bring in the heat, SmoochšøšŗLoved to see you allšDouble Pawkisses for a Happy Week ahead to all of youš¾š½š
ReplyDeleteFabulous pictures of all! Smooch on the basket looks so settled, and so cute! Even Morty looks cute, despite the brazen nip-rustling, imagine that! Well look forward to Melvyn sporting hearts and glitter next week!
ReplyDeleteMaybe Morty should be recruited for the "tougher" jobs. I think he'd be a natural. Um, Morty Dude...you need to ask first. Fudge is pretty fluffed at you.
ReplyDeleteWe're waiting for Spring too. I've had enough of winter.
ReplyDeleteI pick #3 for next week and I know I'll be right.
Have a purrfect day and rest of the week. Scritches all around and a big hug to mom. ♥
Another cat at your catnip patch š well I never...great photos and epic cat walk Melvyn xx š»
ReplyDeleteThe nerve of the other kitty sampling your nip. Looking good Melvyn. XO
ReplyDeleteThose were terrific photos gang, even of the introoder! Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteAhh, the poor Morty must not have any of his own nip to nosh on. But its nice that he can find a wee bit in your yard....ya gotta be nice and share...ya, that is hard when he's trespassing to get at it, LOL!
ReplyDeleteThat was a fun video, Melvyn, we think you thought those tassels were toys!
Dear Fudge, I too have introoder kitties checkin' out the nippy plant. If'n I catch 'em at it, I growl and hiss fur-om inside.
