Furbulous Greetings Supurr Furiends
Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!
It's been another week of warm weather, but with high humidity, so the fans have been running a lot to cool us down and stop sticky, sweat-fur! MOL
Well, mew could have knocked us over with a feather and rolled us in catnip the other night when this baby hedgehog turned up!
He/she must be from a second litter, so we'll do our best to get him/her fattened up for the big sleep later in the year.
There's also another little one, double the size of this one, that we've called Nibbles, so we'll keep feeding the expanding hedgehog horde at BBHQ, and hopefully, the declining numbers of recent years will begin to grow.
Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.

Smooch's On Kitchen Duty
If mew read our Sunday Selfie posts, mew'll know that every Sunday, Smooch is in the kitchen snoopervising the cooking of the Sunday lunch.
Here he was waiting, rather impatiently for the P.A. to start proceedings. Just look at that face - OH MY COD, the P.A. really had to get her skates on! MOL

Pandora Said No
Every couple of weeks, the P.A. likes to wash all the snuggle mats, and the other day, she went to get the one off the sofa in the catservatory, and Pandora was flat out.
The P.A. asked, very politely if she could take the snuggle mat, and Pandora said NO! MOL
Finally this week
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
This week Melvyn is modelling the first bandana of August. It was a tie between these three, so Melvyn made the final choice.
He made his choice very quickly! MOL
Fudge was on the catwalk again this week, as Melvyn did his thing. I think we're going to have to get him modelling bandanas now! MOL
Which one should he model next?
Here's the brand new bandana collection for August, hot off the sewing machine from the BBHQ craft room.

Melvyn's Unicorn
We asked if mew'd like to see Melvyn's Unicorn on Monday's post.
Meet The Corn. Well, this a back up Corn, one of about three new ones lurking in a draw at BBHQ. As Melvyn tends to be quite tough on them! MOL
He takes The Corn on little adventures around BBHQ, and we find him in all sorts of random places.
Normally, the Corn doesn't come out to play until after dinner every evening, and if the P.A. is late, Melvyn starts meowing really loudly and rushing up the stairs to then meow extra loud at the draw where the Corn lives.
That's us done for today. We'll be back again on Friday, so do join us then, as mew know how much we love your company.

Why does Pandora's answer not surprise me?
Melvyn, great job, and maybe Fudge needs to model, too, but not bandanas. Hats? Just to be different. I'd like to see the purple irises.

ReplyDeleteThat's an adorable unicorn toy, and yes we hide...er, um...carefully store some in a drawer, otherwise they'd get torn to bits.
