Epic Greetings Furiends
Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!
What a glorious few days at BBHQ, the weather has been sun, sun and more sun! The temperature reached a decidedly heady 24 degrees Celsius yesterday, which is more like a mid-summer temperature, but we're not complaining in the slightest! MOL
Fudge is feeling a lot happier this week as his beloved catmint plants are now growing. This one below is the one that started his upset, but just look how much it has grown in the last month. Click here to see the original photos of both plants.
This one below has gone pawsitively bananas, and is putting the one above to shame! MOL
It's absolutely epic!
And we just had to share this beautiful tulip, mew can't believe the arty effect on the petals, it's incredible.
And this one with the yellow and pink, it's divine.
Let's dive in and find out what's been happening at BBHQ this week.
First up in the news this week...
Parsley Enjoying The Warms
Parsley was flat out on the lawn enjoying the warms on Monday, well, we say lawn in a rather loose way as it's full of dandelions, clover and other early spring wild flowers.
We've given up on trying to have a pristine lawn. One that's like a bowling green; it's just not going to happen without oodles of chemicals and other nasties.
And we don't use chemicals in the BBHQ garden because it doesn't just kill the weeds, so a natural lawn it is, and the wildlife and insects love it, and if they're happy, then we're happy.
Plus, the bees and butterflies need all the help they can get, so we are helping! MOL
We've also got oodles of tadpoles in the pond. Normally, we rehome the frogspawn, but this year that didn't happen. And it's a good job we didn't because apparently, due to the lack of rain over the winter months, many of the wild ponds, ditches and other natural watering holes have all dried up around us, and the frogs have all died, so sad.
But hopefully we'll have frogs abound at BBHQ, and the P.A. has even bought some special frogspawn food to bulk them up and assist them on their journey to fully fledged frogdom! #epic MOL

Fudge Is Supurr Fuzzy
Fudge was feeling supurr fuzzy and all kinds of floofy the other day after he'd seen his catmint plants flourishing, he even thanked the P.A. for the extra watering duties she's been carrying out this week.

Smooch's Relaxing Snoopervisor Spot
This was Smooch's preferred snoopervising spot while he carefully instructed the P.A. in the art of sweeping the patio and other general tidying duties.
The P.A. said. "What would I do without your expert guidance, Smooch?"
He replied. "Mew'd be really fluffed!" MOL
And finally, this week
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
Melvyn loved this bandana; he spent ten minutes rolling all over the place before the P.A. managed to get this photo! MOL
So much cuteness is happening right now! MOL
W.D.G. (Were Dee Go), aka the invisible monster behind the sofa, who then went on a winter vacation, arrived back at BBHQ late on Caturday evening. How do we know? Well, there were signs. For instance, several duty-free shopping bags appeared in the bunker, and none of us had been anywhere.
Plus, W.D.G. has taken a shine to Pandora's Broom Cupboard, next to my office in the bunker, and he's been rearranging her crystal collection. Then he tidied up the Control Room, and he even reorganised Humphrey's laboratory. But he seems to end up back in Pandora's magic empawrium. She doesn't mind, though she did leave him a polite note instructing that under no circumstances should he read any of the books in the locked section of the bookcases on the back wall.
Cod help us if he does! MOL
Which one should he model next?

Love to see that catmint growing so well! We leave the dandelions and any other wild plants alone and don't try to grow grass only, too. What cute kitty pictures today, all of them! Go Melvyn! We like globugs for next week.
