Furbulous Greetings Supurr Furiends
Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!
It has been glorious weather the last few days, which has been a lovely change as April was utterly miserable and freezing.
And look, BBHQ's first rose has bloomed!
A gorgeous cream affair with a barely there pink ombre effect on the petal edges.
Some of the lupins have burst forth, and several other roses are just about to pop, so we'll share those next week.
Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.
First up in the news this week
Pandora's Purrfect Pawtrait
Pandora was purrfectly poised on the lawn the other evening, and what a delightful photo opportunity.
In other news
Fudge's Floof Explosion
Fudge's tail really does have a life of its own.
One minute it's just a normal looking tail as he pootles around the BBHQ garden, and in the next second it can explode into this! MOL
Next up in the news
Parsley BBHQ's Quality Control Officer
Last Thursday, as the P.A. was packing the snuggle mats for the cat shelter, Parsley had to do some final checks to make sure that the kitties won't be disappointed.

Finally this week
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
Last week mew voted for bandana #1!
Melvyn's catwalk strut started off very badly, then got a little worse before Fudge took charge and got him revved up and raring to go, after that he was purrfect! MOL
Check out Melvyn strutting his stuff on your preferred social media channel:
Which one should he model next?
Here's the brand new May collection.
The May Collection:
1. Lilac with Pink Flowers
2. Purple Flowers
3. Blue Butterfly
4. Dark Cherry Blossom
5. White Cherry Blossom

Meet the Wicked Snail by Cheerble
**SPONSORED**
A few weeks ago, the furbulous peeps at Cheerble contacted us and asked if we'd like to try one of their new interactive toys, and who could refuse getting their paws on a Wicked Snail! MOL
Melvyn was the first to formally introduce himself!
As the snail didn't actually have a name, Melvyn took it upon himself to call the snail Nitrous as he's supurr speedy and zips around at top speed.
On hard floors, there's no stopping this snail; he tumbles, spins and whirls, and if he crashes into furniture, he rights himself and speeds off. And we never thought that we would ever say that a snail was involved in a hit-and-run! MOL
The only time the Wicked Snail slows down is when he launches onto the rugs, and even then, he ploughs on, gets back to the hard floor, and zooms off again. However, we think he wouldn't work very well on thick carpets.
What a brilliant and fun toy!
It ticks all the boxes for the hunting instinct, the chase and pounce, but, and this a tiny but, as it's like nothing your kitty will have ever seen before, it may take a little time to get used to it.

WE LOVE THE WICKED SNAIL, IT'S TOTALLY TOP PAW!

That's a wonderful photo Pandora but you all look fabulous. WOW, that rose sure is pretty. Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteThe rose is delightful, Pandora chose the perfect spot, that's a wonderful floof tail, I've never seen one quite that good before, Parsley should always do the quality control, he's got it down to an art, Melvyn, I'm glad you found your stride (and I'm always going to vote for the purple), and finally, wow on that snail! That's the next special to save up for around here.
ReplyDeleteNitrous sure looks like fun, Melvyn! And you look great in that bandana. How about #2 next week?
ReplyDeleteWe are glad you finally got some nice weather, and the roses are starting to bloom. We loved Pandora's portrait and Fudge's flooftastic tailio. Well done with the QC, Parsley. We bet the shelter cats are gonna love those mats. XO
Handsome Melvyn, we vote fur #2 next time up. Fudge's tail floof looks a bit like Lynn's humidity hair with all the rain we keep having, mol. My vishus deer would make a snack of that gorgeous rose. Precious
