Welcome to another BBHQ Sunday Selfie, and this week we decided to revisit our Stone Circle Trail, so we hopped in the TTTB to return to the incredibly scenic Yorkshire Dales.

Here's a little bit of info from BBHQ's Historical Travel Guide, Smooch:
Greetings to all the history aficionados and travel enthusiasts out there!
During our latest expedition to Kingsdale in the western Yorkshire Dales, we had the extraordinary luck of visiting the enigmatic Cheese Press Stone. Named so because of its shape! MOL
These two boulders, the remnants of some glacier excitement aeons ago, sit atop an escarpment looking across the beautiful valley.
There's not a lot of info about them, other than what I've mentioned, but then, do we need any more? I mean, just look at them - EPIC!
Happy Trails

Anyhoo, it's time for us to go on a little garden safari. Smooch is shouting and swearing in the kitchen at the P.A., something about mixing the Yorkshire puddings like a total pudding. And the rest of us scarpered as we heard the P.A. tell him that he's no longer watching Hell's Kitchen, as it's giving him too many bad ideas! MOL
We'll be back in the morning with another Cats Have Problems Too post, join us to see what one kitty needs to do to curb his urges, yep, mew read that right! MOL
In the meantime...

ReplyDeleteDid someone mention cheese!? Count me in. I do hope you brought back samples?
ReplyDeleteERin
That was interesting to see the cheese press stone. Not far from us we have the Cheesewring. During the first lockdown we were allowed on the roads to get animal feeds or other farm supplies. We used to get them and drive a few more miles to Minions and take a picnic with us. If you remember, 2020 was a glorious summer!
ReplyDeleteI have added the link in case you want to visit there sometime in the future.
