Furbulous Greetings Supurr Furiends
Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!
Now, I know we purromised last week a look at how well the runner beans are growing, but sadly the P.A. failed miserably to create any videos this week. Seriously mew can't get the staff. Anyhoo, the runner beans are well on their way to the top of the garden arches.
So today instead, here's a blooming marvellous rose selection.
These are all double blooms and are highly fragrant.
The pink one above, is a very special rose, as it was created in memorium for the P.A.'s cousin, who's daughter sadly died from cancer a few years ago. The rose is named after her, it's called Rachel. And Rachel is planted at BBHQ next to the backdoor, so every time the P.A. walks past, she tells Rachel how beautiful she is and that she will never be forgotten. Nanny has another Rachel rose in her garden too.
We adore roses at BBHQ, and even though they've all just finished their first flowering and have been deadheaded, we can't wait for the second imminent flourish of colour and scent. Did we mention before that we have nearly 40 different roses in the garden including, ramblers, climbers, shrubs, standards and hybrid tea bushes. They are such a meautiful flower, although mew do have to be careful of the prickles! MOL
Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.
First up in the news this week
Majestic Fudge
Fudge was chillaxing in the catservatory, and for some reason he was feeling so money supermarket, but he wouldn't tell us why?!
What do mew think he's up to?
And should we be worried?
Also, do mew think it involves the latest catnip crop?
Or is he selling Amber's books on the quiet?
Next up in the news
Pitter Patter Pandora
We had a couple of showers at BBHQ, and Pandora was listening to the pitter patter of the rain on the catservatory roof.
It's very soothing and relaxing, until a heavy downpour comes along and then it's like armageddon in there! MOL
Finally this week
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
Guys, it was a draw between the Crazy Daisies and the Popcorn-Tastic bandanas, so Melvyn made the executive decision to wear the Popcorn-Tastic this week. He said the yellow really enhanced the colours of his eyes! MOL
See, they are like deep pools of citrine!
Oh, and don't look at all the cat fur on the chair, Melvyn was rolling upside down in it just before he started modelling, and right after the P.A. had just vacuumed it! MOL
Check out Melvyn strutting his funky stuff on the BBHQ catwalk at:
Which one should he model next?
Here's the brand new bandana collection for July.
The options from the top left in a clockwise direction: 1. 100's and 1000's of Purrs
2. Luscious Leopards
3. Popcorn-Tastic
4. Crazy Daisies
