Epic Greetings Furbulous Furiends
Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!
The good news this week is the rain has stayed away, so we're really pleased about that.
And we're also pleased Squiggles made an appearance the Friday before last, he's one of the babies of the babies from a couple of years ago.
He's been visiting on and off for a few weeks, although he is more elusive than the others. We just think he's camera-shy, so we're respecting his privacy. (And yes, we did ask if we could share this one photo, and he didn't refuse! MOL)
Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.
First up in the news
Pandora Needs A Brush
Mew know it has taken Pandora years, yes years to finally let the P.A. brush her properly. Well almost, she does still scoot around a little during said brush sessions, but that's still 1000% better than she was.
Before, she'd just bolt for the hills when the P.A. approached with a brush, but with a lot of time and patience, finally, she really quite enjoys it and purrs really loudly. And because she has long fur, it's really impawtant to brush her frequently. The P.A. would brush her twice a day but feels this would be a little too much with Pandora's delicate constitution, so she aims for once a day and is supurr careful not to pull any matts, as her fur can get quite matted literally overnight.
Also, the brush she uses is called a Tangle Teaser, it was one of the P.A.'s brushes, but out of sheer desperation one day, as Pandora was looking quite ratty (sorry Pandora! MOL) and refused every other cat brush at BBHQ, the P.A. got the Tangle Teaser and Pandora actually didn't run away, so that brush became Pandora's.
And the moral of the story is, if all else fails, get a Tangle Teaser! MOL

Fudge was having a really relaxing siesta the other day, so much so that he slept through all the dusting, vacuuming and mopping. Seriously, this dude is so chill! MOL

So fun seeing the hedgehog. Great video of them all at once. And Pandora, Precious did not like her shorter grey onesie to be brushed when she first came home from the orphanage but now she demands I do it 3 or 4 times in the afternoons only. And I bet you two could do a duet of purrs together. Melvyn, we are glad to see the gingerbread scarf.

ReplyDeleteWe DO want to see what Pandora looked like before! Squiggles is looking good, and we loved that Scooter headed right for the P.A.'s shoe! Fudge, you look very chill, and Melvyn ... how about the Day of the Dead one next? HUGS!
ReplyDeletePIpo wasn't that fond of brushing either, but at least he didn't have long furs. Two of our six kitties, plus MJF loved the vacuum...they demanded 'massages' with it whenever I finished using it for housekeeping purposes.
