Supurr Greetings Furbulous Furiends
Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!
Last week we mentioned that we were hoping to crop the catnip plants, weather permitting. And on Sunday afternoon, the P.A. got the secateurs and off she went like Edward Scissorhands! MOL
This was two pots prior to cutting.
The P.A. got six good-sized bundles in total, so not a bad haul, plus there's still some left as there were some spider webs that she didn't want to disturb. So there may be another crop in a couple of weeks if the spiders move on.
We didn't make the bundles too big, as they need the air to circulate, and after tying them together, they were carefully conveyed under the carport.
And this is where they will hang for the next few weeks until they've gone nice and crispy. So stay tuned for another update soon.
We will say this, this crop seems rather potent, so we can't wait to try it! MOL

Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.
First up in the news
Smooch Snoozing on The Shroom
Smooch decided that some Shroom-time was needed the other day, and enjoyed several hours of catnapping on this sumptuous velvet delight!
If mew feel like making one, here's the link to The Love Shroom.
And we're just working on another Crafting with Cats post for Halloween, so we'll be sharing that later in the month.
Next up in the news
Fudge Missing Out on a Second Breakfast
Apologies for the blurry photo, but the P.A. was actually laughing so hard at Fudge's utter outrage at missing out on a second breakfast while Amber, Melvyn, Smooch and Pandora were lapping it up! MOL
Too funny for sure!
That'll teach him for not putting his alarm clock on.
Finally this week
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
Last week mew voted for the Black Spider Webs plus the Pumpkins & Black Cats Bandanas.
So here's BBHQ's top model doing what he does best! MOL
The catwalk got supurr crowded this week, but Melvyn was an absolute star and navigated it all so well!
Check out Melvyn's videos on your preferred social media channel below:

That is a great crop of nip! Poor Melvyn had quite an obstacle course modelling this week. I would like to know the answers to the questions from Pirate Tails. I vote for purple skelebobs and ravens.

Just love all the pics today! Cozy Smooch, catnip bounty, second breakfast, and snazzy modelin' Melvin! I like ravens for next week! Ravens evermore!
ReplyDeleteLooking good Melvyn. That is a lot of nip. I love that shroom. Your PA is so talented. XO
ReplyDeleteThat looks like quite a lovely harvest of catnip, I know you will all enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteA velvet cushion bed! I'd want one. Of course, it would have to be much bigger.
Fudge, you can simply say, "Oh, Fudge!" when you miss out on such a delightful treat.
Melvyn is quite handsome in the spider webs, I'd love to see the other spider bandana as well as the Ravens. Those are some mighty smart birds.
The Q&A would be fun to read, to get the details that were missed.
Woah, mama! Just look at that harvest!!! I got nipped just from seein' the pictures. MOUSES!
ReplyDeleteYour fun photos always make me smile! Thank you so much for your kind words on the passing of our dear Brian. We all sincerely appreciate your kindness and your friendship. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
